So Anya Taylor-Joy is staying true to form during the promo trail, as she stepped out in Tokyo with her co-stars in an entirely peach-coloured outfit.
The Queen’s Gambit star, 29, looked incredible in the form-fitting ensemble comprising a bandeau crop top and high-waisted skirt.
The co-ord was brought together dramatically by the vast disc hat, which she highlighted by wearing her ice blonde hair in dead straight lengths.
Her whole ensemble was made more head-turning thanks to the peach complementing her alabaster complexion.
Anya proved the devil was in the details as she even matched her lengthy nails to the exact shade of her incredible three-piece ensemble.
Also in attendance at the event were Charlie Day, Jack Black, Donald Glover, Chris Pratt, Benny Safdie and Keegan Michael Key.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is an upcoming animated adventure comedy film based on the 2007 video game Super Mario Galaxy and its 2010 sequel.
Her latest appearance comes after she was a guest on The Today Show where she talked to host Craig Melvin about her forthcoming projects.
The interview kicked off with Melvin observing that the star has appeared ‘trapped’ when it comes to some of her roles both in film and television.
He said: ‘In The Queen’s Gambit you’re trapped in chess, you’re trapped in the kingdom here in Mario, [and] you’re trapped sort of in Survival’.
Following a small laugh, Anya simply replied with: ‘So, I have a history of being trapped?’ He then questioned her if it was only a ‘coincidence’ or rather ‘a theme that you seek out?’
The Queen’s Gambit star answered: ‘It does feel like fate. I think now, with some hindsight, I do see a through-line between my own personal journey and what I’ve been allowed to depict on screen, but they always seem very different to me.’
Elsewhere in their conversation, Melvin brought up the speculation that the actress is rumored to play Joni Mitchell in an upcoming biopic.
He asked the star about a possible connection between Mitchell as well as her role of Princess Peach in the animated Super Mario movie: ‘You’re rumored to be playing Joni Mitchell, speaking of through-lines here…
‘Arguably one of the most singularly important women in music over the last generation or so. Princess Peach, one of the most iconic women in gaming history. What is the connection there?’
She countered: ‘What is the connection between Joni Mitchell and Princess Peach? That they’re both singular. You can’t touch them. They’re in a league of their own.’
