Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor spotted in Range Rover with ‘mystery woman’

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor spotted in Range Rover with ‘mystery woman’,

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been spotted visiting his new home – with a mystery woman apparently in the back of his 4×4.

The former Duke of York was seen whizzing along a country road towards Marsh Farm on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

He was driving himself in a royal Range Rover accompanied by his royal protection officer who had one of Andrew’s seven dogs on his lap.

And it appears there was a woman in the back seat with them.

Hundreds of moving boxes – and three lorry-loads of art – have already arrived at Marsh Farm ahead of his move over Easter. A mobile home for his servants has also popped up in the grounds.

Andrew appears to be still calling himself His Royal Highness despite being stripped of the title by his brother King Charles.

Box after box arriving at his new home have been marked ‘HRH’.

Andrew broke cover days after it emerged that the errant former prince has installed a huge white mobile home in the grounds of his new Norfolk hideaway for his staff.

It was delivered to Marsh Farm in Wolferton on the Royal Sandringham estate on the back of a lorry and has been plonked into his back garden.

Staff are expected to move into the mobile home as they no longer fit in his main house following his eviction from the 30-room Windsor mansion, Royal Lodge, in February.

Marsh Farm boasts five bedrooms but the disgraced former prince still appears to need extra room.

The mobile home has been positioned inside a former stable block in an attempt to hide it from view.

It comes as moving vans were seen outside Marsh Farm as Andrew is expected to move in permanently in April. He is currently living in Wood Farm – also on the Sandringham estate – while Marsh Farm undergoes renovations.

New high wooden fences have been erected around the perimeter of Marsh Farm ahead of the move and workers were seen installing Sky TV as well as CCTV and extra security in January.

Earlier this week, hundreds of removal boxes stamped ‘HRH’ were delivered to his new abode, in a sign that Andrew is still desperately clinging to his royal styling.

Three lorries from art movers Gander and White were seen entering the estate too, thought to be carrying fine art paintings to furnish his bolthole

Three large lorries from Gander & White – an art logistics company with a royal warrant – were also seen arriving at the property, believed to be carrying fine art paintings to deck out Andrew’s bolthole.

King Charles expedited Andrew’s removal from Royal Lodge in February following the second release of the Epstein files, which appeared to show the depth of the former duke’s relationship.

Sources close to the King at the time told The Times he felt he had ‘no option’ but to ‘remove him from the public gaze’, after being appalled by his brazen brother’s daily horse rides around Windsor Great Park past waiting photographers.

The revelations from the files led to his arrest in mid-February – on his 66th birthday – on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

A string of emails suggested he had shared confidential documents with the paedophile financier while serving as trade envoy in Asia in 2010 and 2011 – after Epstein had been convicted and jailed for soliciting prostitution from a minor in 2008.

The discovery of the massive mobile home comes just days after he was spotted for the first time since he was released from his arrest after 11 hours of questioning four weeks ago.

He broke cover and was seen on a solo dog walk around Sandringham for 90 minutes near Wood Farm last Saturday.

The no-fly zone over the royal estate has also been extended to include Marsh Farm, which is seven miles from the main house. Andrew is thought to have wanted to stay in Wood Farm permanently but there were concerns this would leave him ‘too close’ to the rest of the family.

It is the first picture of Andrew since he was seen slumped in the rear of a Range Rover four weeks ago in a futile attempt to avoid photographers as he was driven from a Norfolk police station

Sarah Ferguson, Andrew’s ex-wife, had also been living with him in Royal Lodge and had to leave as well, finding other accommodation in Windsor. Andrew is said to have paid ‘peppercorn rent’ at the property after signing the lease in 2003 and paying for renovations.

Fergie has also fallen foul of controversy surrounding her supposed links to Epstein, most recently with York City Council preparing to remove her Freedom of the City of York honorary title.

She and Andrew received the honours as a wedding gift on their visit to York while they were still married in 1987. His was removed in 2022 following his out-of-court settlement with his accuser Virginia Giuffre in 2022.
