Look Mum No Computer, the UK’s Eurovision entrant Look Mum No Computer, has taken to the stage in Vienna hoping to achieve glory in the contest’s 70th year.
The singer, whose real name is Sam Battle, performed his song Eins, Zwei, Drei while dancing energetically with people dressed as computers.
Tonight’s contest has been overshadowed by a boycott of five countries, Spain, the Netherlands, Ireland, Iceland and Slovenia, over Israel’s participation.
Israeli singer Noam Bettan’s performance appeared to pass without incident with host Graham Norton remarking the reaction was largely positive.
The 25 competing countries in the grand final in Austria will be Albania, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Sweden, Ukraine and the UK whose entrant is Look Mum No Computer, otherwise known as Sam Battle.
The Eurovision Song Contest grand final will take place on Saturday at 8pm, and will be shown live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

Poland continues to pray
Poland’s act ALICJA mixed gospel with R&B and soul for her song Pray.
Other than becoming a strong firm fan favourite, it is outstanding that she was able to keep her performance up in a questionable metal corset.
Finland comes prepared, violins and all
Finland showed exactly why they are this year’s hot favourites, having not lifted the trophy since 2006.
Duo Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen sung song Liekinheitin.
Staying true, Lampenius even played the violin live, somewhat ethereal while doing so.
She is widely known and has worn many a hat, from being a renowned classical violinist to featuring on covers of adult magazine Playboy.
Welcome back, Moldova!
Moldova came in strong. Singer Satoshi ran out to a chant of the country’s name.
His song Viva, Moldova! was warmly welcomed, especially given Moldova has not performed in Eurovision since 2024.
The performance was given some added spice with a surprise visit by Aliona Moon, who carried Moldova in the 2013 contest.
France, France, France…
This year’s youngest singer Monroe certainly imprinted herself in people’s minds tonight.
The 17-year-old sent shudders down spines with her song Regarde! Translated as ‘Watch!’, there was little else to do.
Monroe Vata Rigby rose to stardom last year after winning Prodiges, a prestigious French talent show.
France hasn’t won since 1977, but could 2026 be their next chance?

Eins, Zwei, Drei…it is time.
Singer Same Battle, known as Look Mum No Computer, certainly wasn’t short of energy.
Battle, and his furry friends, jumped around on stage to the 10,000-strong audience.
The singer definitely took his parental freedom to new levels, as he left his wife at home to look after their five-week-old son Max.

Croatia comes in as the 13th act tonight
The female five-piece folk-pop band LELEK from Croatia performed Andromeda.
Traditional Slavic music with a modern edge, the group played on a set of smoke, fire and shooting stars. As if Eurovision magic, a singer – dressed in a hooded white-and-red number – even seemingly levitates at one point.
What a…banger
Bulgaria’s Bangaranga certainly lived up to the interpretation of its name. If you weren’t bopping to this, I think it may be time you let music go completely.
The 27-year-old singer DARA has quickly become a fan favourite.
The arena was dancing as she was thrown across the stage, hair flying.
Czechia impresses but is let down by technology
The 23-year-old Daniel Zizka represents Czechia with his emotional pop ballad Crossroads.
The singer showcases his vocal range while surrounded by a set of mirrors, but was hit by technical problems with visuals.
UK presenter Graham Norton noted the glitch didn’t happen in rehearsals, leaving the country bitter.
Malta guns for their first ever win
The Maltese star AIDAN took to the stage with his song Bella.
The singer, who wore a leather waistcoat, has tried on multiple occasions to represent this country. Tonight is the night.

Serbia’s LAVINA certainly left an impression…to the ear drums.
The six-member dramatic metal band performed Kraj Mene, translated to ‘beside me’ or ‘next to me’.
Delta…Delta WOW
Let’s go Delta, Australia…and the rest of the viewership is behind you.
The star, and absolute fan favourite, did her country proud with song Eclipse.
She is the very obvious, beautiful, horse in this race.
Ukraine goes high
Translated as relatives, or loved ones, Leleka performed her song Ridnym.
The actor-come-singer has released five albums throughout her career – hitting unbelievably high notes!
Some Eurovision trivia…Ukraine have always reached the semi-final in every contest they’ve taken part in. The only country to do so!
