The 40-year-old former child star is best remembered for her breakout role, at age three, playing Bill Cosby’s onscreen step-granddaughter Olivia Kendall on his hit NBC sitcom The Cosby Show from 1989–1992.
Raven-Symoné (born Christina Pearman) took to the stage at the Beverly Wilshire while clad in a black pantsuit over a white blouse and patent leather Prada loafers.
The five-time Emmy nominee was there to introduce the legendary singer Stevie Wonder, who surprised the feminist crowd by honoring journalist Adai Lamar for her coverage of the 2025 LA wildfires.

Last November, Raven-Symoné received substantial backlash over saying you have to ‘separate the creator from the creation’ when it comes to Bill Cosby and his eye-popping number of sexual assault allegations spanning 1965-2005.
‘And that’s just where I live. The creation changed America. Changed television,’ The Ms. Pat Show guest star said on the Hate to Break It to Ya podcast.

The disgraced 88-year-old comedian – who denied everything – was convicted in 2018 and jailed, but walked free in 2021 after Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court overturned the ruling, citing a prior deal that should have blocked his prosecution.
But Cosby’s legal woes are far from over as a civil jury in California awarded Donna Motsinger, who accused him of drugging her and sexually assaulting her in 1972, $59.25 million in damages as recent as March 23.

After The Cosby Show, Raven-Symoné appeared on the ABC sitcom Hangin’ With Mr Cooper, which ran until 1997.
She subsequently had silver-screen success with appearances in Dr. Doolittle, Dr. Doolittle 2, and The Princess Diaries.
In 2003, Raven-Symoné became a Disney idol after being cast as the role of psychic teen-turned-fashion designer Raven Baxter in the cable network’s sitcom That’s So Raven.
It aired for four seasons, ending in 2007.
In 2015, she spent one year as a panelist on The View, before appearing on Disney’s That’s So Raven spin-off, Raven’s Home.
That show was cancelled in 2024 after running for six seasons. She also appeared as a host of Scrabble With Craig Ferguson.
It’s been a year since The CW decided to replace Raven-Symoné as host of their game show revival of Scrabble with Craig Ferguson, but she remain an executive producer.

Raven-Symoné – who boasts 14.2 million social media followers – is also every bit the influencer with paid partnerships for brands like Signos Health, Jaxx and Goorin Bros.
The Cheetah Girls alum also previously served co-host duties on ABC’s The View from 2015–2016.
