Amal Clooney, 47, arrives hand in hand with her husband George, 64

Amal Clooney made an elegant appearance as she arrived into Venice hand in hand with her husband George on Tuesday. 

The Hollywood couple were seen climbing off their boat as they beamed ahead of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival 2025.

Amal, 47, wowed in a stylish butter yellow halter neck dress which featured large pockets and a gold belt buckle. 

She accessorised the look with a pair of white heels, matching white handbag and shades. 

Meanwhile her husband George, 64, looked rather dapper in a black polo shirt and cream trousers. 

The pair appeared in great spirits as they walked hand in the Italian City ahead of Tuesday night’s pre-opening.

Venice begins with a premiere of Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s extended short film Origin, the Venetian Lagoon followed by a screening of the late Erich von Stroheim’s 1932 historical drama. 

Adam Sandler was also seen arriving as he opted for a rather more casual attire in a quirky printed shirt patterned with leopards and leaves. 

He paired the shirt with pale pink Nike shorts and black and bright pink trainers as he was seen carrying a basketball. 

Laura Dern appeared in great spirits as she waved to fans while looking effortlessly chic in an off the shoulder white shirt and black trousers. 

The actress, 58, completed her look with a pair of white flats, black handbag and stylish shades. 

Venice holds a special place in George and Amal’s hearts after the pair tied the knot there in 2014.

Three years later, the couple welcomed their twins, Alexander and Ella, in 2017.

This year, George is attending the festival for the premiere of his new Netflix comedy Jay Kelly on Thursday.

Wolfs tells the story of two professional fixers, who despite a preference to work alone, find themselves forced to work together after being hired for the same job.

Along with starring at the top of the marquee, the two leading men are also serving as producers under Clooney’s Smokehouse and Pitt’s Plan B, along with director Jon Watts, and Dianne McGunigle, Grant Heslov, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner.
