Police are hunting down a cyclist who assaulted a female driver in a harrowing attack after becoming enraged when her car appeared to block the road.
The violent incident occurred in the City of Matosinhos, near Porto, Portugal on Monday evening.
In the video filmed by a witness, the man cycles into the woman, 37, before stepping off and launching his fists at her without hesitation.
He is seen grabbing her body and putting his hands on her face and neck before repeatedly punching her during a furious roadside row.
The woman tries to defend herself but within seconds, the cyclist throws her to the ground in the middle of the street.
He is then seen grabbing her by the hair and repeatedly punching her while she places her arms over her head.
Shocked bystanders can be heard screaming as several people, including an elderly woman, run towards the pair to stop the attack.
The driver later told police the cyclist punched the vehicle three times while it was stationary.

She got out of the car to confront him before the argument escalated into the terrifying attack.
Police said the cyclist fled before officers arrived at the scene at around 5.10 pm.
Firefighters from Leca do Balio treated the injured driver, who sustained minor injuries, before taking her to hospital.
The victim later filed a complaint with the Public Security Police, who are now trying to identify the cyclist.
Footage of the attack has since spread widely across social media, where users have shared appeals to help track down the attacker.
