Kylie Minogue has shared never-before-seen home video footage with Jason Donovan.
The couple – who famously starred together on Neighbours – dated for five years in the Eighties, during which time Kylie launched a successful singing career.
Now Kylie, an eponymous Netflix documentary about the star, has shared an insight into their romance, with Jason admitting that he was jealous of Kylie’s success.
Discussing their time on the Australian soap, Kylie, 57, shared: ‘We could understand each other. And we must have fancied each other as well, that helps!
‘We were just kids, we were fresh out of high school so it was that sweetheart romance.’
Jason, 57, added: ‘It was art imitating life.’
Home video footage of the pair in the early days of their romance showed fresh-faced Kylie rolling around in bed giggling, as Jason filmed her.

Yet things soon soured between the pair after Kylie launched a commercially successful singing career but struggled with the criticism she faced.
Jason reflected: ‘She really struggled and I was like, “well, maybe you shouldn’t have gone down that route…” because that’s how my attitude was.
‘Her music career at that point had really taken off. It didn’t p**s me off but it was like… We’d been this partnership in the show and suddenly I could see she was moving away from her acting.
‘So there was a few arguments. I had my own ego at that point “why isn’t this happening to me?” you know what I mean.’
Footage was shown of Jason taunting Kylie during a row, filming her looking sombre as he remarked: ‘that’s Kylie getting all s***y, little boss moss.’
Jason continued: ‘Until they got on the phone and asked me to do it [release a single] and then it all changed.
‘Try working me out then at that point, I don’t f***ing know. I guess I was frightened I was going to lose her.’
Kylie previously admitted she had forgotten about the clips’ existence until Netflix producers were able to track them down.
‘This was going back to the days where people only had a camera if they went on holiday,’ Kylie said. ‘I imagine it was quite an effort to find that.
‘When I saw that footage for the first time, my heart swelled. I thought, “Oh my God, we were just babies.”
‘That brought back tidal waves of nostalgia, emotion and a lot of love.’
Kylie also discussed her relationship with INXS front man Michael Hutchence in the documentary, whom she dated for three years.
The pair met while she was in a relationship with Jason, with the singer confessing: ‘Jason and I will always have this undeniable bond, but things were about to change…’

Kylie Minogue’s steamy first encounter with Michael Hutchence revealed by Jason Donovan
Michael broke up with Kylie in 1991 and died by suicide six years later, but more than three decades on she said she still ‘always feels he’s with me’, even though the pain of the breakup left her shattered.
‘He was the first in so many ways and one of those firsts was heartbreak. I was devastated,’ she said of her split.
‘He was a rock star, which doesn’t just mean that he needs to have many women in his life, but he needed to go where he needed to go.’
The relationship became ‘more and more difficult’ due to the prolonged time apart while INXS were on the road, which made it ‘really hard’ for them to see each other.
Reflecting on what could have been between them, she said: ‘We were good together. Coulda, shoulda, woulda, whatever. You know, you go on and live your lives. But it was definitely an amazing point in time.’
Yet Kylie said she takes comfort in knowing his feelings for her were as strong as hers were for him, as she mused: ‘I know from people in his circle that he talked of me and thought of me.’
