Jake Hall’s brother shares emotional tribute

Jake Hall’s brother Sonny has shared a heartbreaking tribute to the TOWIE star days after his death.

Jake died at the age of 35 from a chest injury caused by broken glass on Wednesday at a rented property in Santa Margalida, Majorca, where he had been living.

He also suffered head and neck wounds after apparently running through a patio door during a party at the £200-a-night Majorcan villa, investigators say.

Sonny, who collaborated with Jake on DJ and clothing brand projects, posted a story titled The Dragonfly in his first post since his brother’s post.

Jake’s ex girlfriends Misse Beqiri and Chloe Lewis shared comments on the post, with TOWIE star Chloe writing: ‘He loved you so much. Love you Son.’

Misse, who is the mother of Jake’s daughter River, eight, wrote ‘Love you’, joining hundreds of other comments from the late star’s TOWIE castmates and celebrity friends.

Sonny’s post told the story of a water bettle living a ‘simple and comfortable life with a community of water beetles’ who decides to follow some friends’ lead and climb out of the pond to see what was above.

The beetle transforms into a flying dragonfly who ‘as he soared he saw the beauty of a whole new world and a far superior way of life to what he had ever known existed,’ the story continued.

‘He remembered his beetle friends and how they were thinking by now he was dead. He wanted to go back to tell them, and explain to them that he was now more alive than he had ever been before.

‘His life had been fulfilled rather than ended. But, his new body would not go down into the water. He could not get back to tell his friends the good news.’

‘Then, he understood that their time would come, when they too would know what he now knew, So, he raised his wings and flew off into his joyous new life! ‘ the story concluded.

Jake was found dead by police at around 7.30am on Wednesday at a rented property in Santa Margalida, Mallorca with fatal wounds.

On Tuesday evening, Jake is believed to have spent a night out in Palma before coming back with two men and three women to continue partying at the villa.

Music had continued from the early hours into the morning but at around 7.15am those living in the terraced houses heard a loud crash and smashing of glass.

According to witnesses, Jake had believed the door to the patio and pool area was open at the time and accidentally ran into it.

With injuries to his head and glass shards in his neck and chest, Jake collapsed immediately on the patio. Emergency services later declared that Jake had died at the scene.

Legal sources have told the Daily Mail that the incident is being considered an accident.

Jake’s ex Misse shared a devastating tribute on Instagram last week. The Swedish model shares daughter River, eight, with the late TV personality.

In a heartbreaking update, Misse wrote: ‘I never thought I would ever have to write this, and the pain of even putting these words down feels unbearable.

‘There was no way you were ever supposed to go. My heart is shattered, and so is our daughter’s.’

Misse continued: ‘You lit up every room you walked into – your smile, your charm, your energy that filled the air. The way you loved music, how deeply you felt every sound, your creativity, your mind, your spirit.

‘You were so deeply loved by so many people, and seeing the love everyone has for you is both heartbreaking and beautiful all at once.

‘Your constant mission to stop me from taking naps still makes me smile.

‘I loved you from the very first moment I saw you, and there was never a chance you were going to let me go. Together we created the most beautiful girl, the one you loved more than anything in this world, beyond words.

‘Your love for her was so strong it almost scared me, because I knew you would go to the ends of the earth for her.

‘She adored you – her favourite person, her daddy. You will be missed. I promise to keep River safe, loved, and wrapped in the kind of love you gave so effortlessly. You are at peace now.

‘As my brother used to say, “you gypos”, I know you’re laughing together now. You left behind your mini version, our River, and for that we are forever grateful. You will always live on through her, and you will forever be with us.’

On Friday, Jake’s childhood sweetheart Chloe responded to a post honouring the late star.

Chloe, 35, dated Jake from their teenage years before their romance became on-off during their stints on the show, with Jake joining in 2015 and remaining a regular cast member from series 14 to series 17.

Despite an acrimonious end to their relationship in 2016, after news of his death erupted on Thursday, Chloe maintained a dignified silence before liking the poignant post from Jake’s pal Dan Bulman about his late friend.
