It was later revealed that Hailey had ‘pushed her’ on before cheering on the moment between the pair.

The moment was a nod to Justin’s early tours, when he would often bring a fan on stage to be serenaded during the song.

Justin’s nearly two-hour set on Saturday comes one week after he delivered a weekend one Coachella performance that left fans disappointed.

Flocking to social media at the time, many branded the set ‘lazy’ and ‘the worst in the festival’s history’.

One frustrated fan penned, ‘Justin Bieber headlined Coachella just to not play any of his classics lmao.’

Another wrote, ‘I cannot imagine paying thousands of dollars to watch Justin Bieber sound a mess and walk around in a hoodie and glasses. This is insulting to his fans.’

A fan added, ‘That’s what happens when you sell your catalogue, and you’re only left with your last album that nobody knows.’

However, others supported the Coachella set and applauded the ‘raw and stripped back’ atmosphere.

According to early fan reception on social media, Bieber’s weekend two performance was highly received as viewers praised his ‘energy’ and overall ‘happy’ vibe.

Justin admitted early on in the show that he was feeling a lot of ‘adrenaline’ as he soaked up the jaw-dropping atmosphere and thousands of fans standing in the desert.
