Air rage passenger rests her feet on the seat in front

A passenger from hell on a Qatar Airways flight insisted on resting her feet on the back of the economy class seat in front of her.

The woman became enraged when the traveller in front reclined her seat, according to witnesses on the Doha to Moscow flight.

The air rage woman, believed to be Russian, refused repeated requests from fellow passengers and the crew to put her feet down.

She used her feet to shake the seat back and at one point clapped her trainers together above the head of the head of the woman in front who was forced to crouch forward as she tried to work on her laptop.

Other Russians on the flight complained they were in ‘Discomfort Class’.

The victim said: ‘This is freedom, you just don’t get it…

‘Freedom that other people take away.’

With the woman in a green top and jeans stretching out her legs, a nearby man jokes: ‘This is business class.’

The passenger from hell remained silent throughout the dispute which came early in the flight

Another woman said: ‘This can only happen in Russia.’

The victim said of her tormentor: ‘As the saying goes, you can take a person out of the dirt, but the dirt doesn’t come out of the person.’

The passenger from hell remained silent throughout the dispute which came early in the flight.

One theory was she had been refused an upgrade and protested by stretching out her legs as if she was flying in business class.

A male passenger said: ‘They tried to persuade her, tried and tried.

‘They tried to persuade her to move her legs, she doesn’t want to, she wants to fly like this.

‘People are going mad.’

A woman cabin crew member crouched down and spoke to the offending passenger, explaining that she needed to remove her feet from the seat back.

Eventually, the passenger in the aisle seat lowered her feet, reported Mash news outlet.

The Daily Mail has contacted Qatar Airways for comment.

After looking around, they discovered the woman's feet perched on the armrest next to their seat

They filmed the woman sticking her feet through the gap between the seat and the plane wall and resting them on the armrest of the person in front.

In the footage, the woman wearing skin-coloured tights, appears to be sleeping with her feet raised.

The alleged incident took place on June 29 on an Air China flight from Qingdao to Beijing.

The person that filmed the footage said they noticed a strong odour lingering nearby when the flight took after.

After looking around, they discovered the woman’s feet perched on the armrest next to their seat.
