Popular Indian Influencer Prathamesh Kadam has died at the age of 26, friends and family have confirmed via social media posts.
The Indian content creator, who had over 193,000 followers, was known online for his comedy videos. He also shared content filmed with his family members, particularly his mom.
Friend Tanmay Chandramohan Patekar took to social media to mourn his friend in an emotional post.
‘You will always be remembered! Prathamesh, take care of yourself!’ he wrote in a post shared to Instagram on January 25.
‘Will miss you a lot Miss You Bhai,’ he said, along with a series of pictures of the two together.
His sister, Pratiksha Kadam, also shared a series of pictures to her Instagram stories as she grieved her brother.
One snap featured Kadam, his mom and his sister, all laughing and holding hands.
‘Miss you dada. Last Family Picture,’ Pratiksha wrote on the snap.
‘Brother, please come back. I can’t handle this anymore. I miss you so, so much. I really can’t bear the fact that you left us and went away,’ a translation of her message read.
‘Please come back, for me, and at least for our mother. This wasn’t the right age for you to go.
‘You still had so many dreams to fulfil for all of us, didn’t you? Then why did you do this to me?’
The heart-wrenching message continued: ‘Why did you leave me alone and go? Now, with whom will I celebrate Bhai Dooj and Raksha Bandhan with my brother, lovingly? Please, please come back. I miss you terribly, and I need you. Please come back.’
Another picture showed the late content creator tightly hugging his mom, and he grinned at the camera, with Pratiksha accompanying it with a series of crying emojis.
Kadam’s cause of death has not been revealed.
The content creator last updated his social media accounts on January 5, sharing a video of himself dancing with a group.
Shocked fans took to social media to mourn the influencer.
‘Very shocking news. RIP brother,’ one user wrote.
‘Rest in peace❤️brother,’ said another.
One fan penned: ‘Life is very short anything can happen. R.I.P.’
In a follow-up post to his Instagram Stories on January 25, fellow content creator Patekar shared that Kadam’s funeral procession would be at 9:30am on January 26.
