VIctoria Beckham sent Spice Girls fans into a tizz on Sunday night as she admitted she was ‘tempted’ by a reunion on the final night of Oasis’ reunion tour.
The band, also comprising Geri Horner, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Mel B, have long-been the subject of reunion rumours with fans frequently yearning for a return.
Among a slew of snaps on her Instagram from the Wembley gig, Victoria shared a video panning around the sold-out venue with ‘Tempting….’ written over the top alongside tags of her bandmates’ Instagram handles.
Fans soon flooded X with excitement, with users penning: ‘Fans took to Twitter to pen: ‘Victoria Beckham teasing something about the Spice Girls. Hmmmm…
‘DID VICTORIA BECKHAM JUST HIT A SPICE GIRLS TOUR ?!? ON HER IG STORY ?!? OMGGG… victoria beckham posting about how tempting watching oasis perform is and tagging all the girls… you guys, we have never been this back i am on the floor.’
She was joined at the gig by husband David, daughter Harper, 14, her sons Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, and Cruz’s girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, 30. Notably absent was their estranged son Brooklyn, 26, who is currently locked in a feud with the family.
As well as her hints at a Spice Girls return, Victoria posed up a storm with Harper – who has recently joined Instagram with a private account.
She ensured the rest of her brood in attendance also appeared on her stories, as she also posed with Cruz and Romeo and shared an image of Cruz and Jackie kissing.
Adding to their crew was Victoria’s long-time friend and hair stylist Ken Paves as well as David’s pal Dave Gardner, who belted out hits with David.
Harper appeared to be annoyed at her brother Cruz and dad as they headed home in a car while they both sang 1994’s Supersonic.
As with many audience members, Victoria gave a nod to Oasis’ trademark looks – however shunned the widespread bucket hat look in favour of a parka.
Prior to the concert, she also showed off David’s buff body as he tried to choose what to wear. Unlike his wife, he succumbed to the bucket hat style.
In April, it was claimed the group are reportedly set to reunite to mark their 30th anniversary as they have been secretly planning an upcoming world tour.
Geri, Emma, Mel B and Mel C were said to have met in Miami to discuss the finer details, yet Victoria is ’90 per cent out of the running’, with the foursome pushing ahead with plans without her for now.
It was alleged at the time that Geri and band manager and guru Simon Fuller are reportedly in touch again which has moved things along after years of hints from various members that they would get back together.
A source said: ‘There have been rumours swirling for months, but Geri has always been too busy and had other things on, preventing her from saying yes.
‘Nothing is yet confirmed but Geri and Simon are back in touch with a myriad of exciting ideas.’
Victoria has often been named as the stopper on reunion plans – saying in 2019: ‘I’m not going on tour. The girls aren’t going on tour’.
However she conceded she did not know what the future may hold, saying: ‘It’s a positive thing. You know, there’s so much bad stuff going on, and the Spice Girls were about fun and celebrating individuality…
‘I think there’s so much that the brand can do, and it’s such a positive message for young kids. What does that look like in the future? It’s not me in a cat-suit’
