Iran’s tallest bridge has been destroyed in US-Israeli airstrikes after Donald Trump threatened to bomb Tehran ‘back to the ‘Stone Age’.
The B1 bridge, which runs between Tehran and Karaj, has reportedly been attacked twice today today, Iran’s Fars news agency is reporting.
The second attack occurred while rescue forces were at the scene helping people injured in the previous strike which is said to have killed two people.
Earlier, Iran threatened that in response to this attack, bridges in Israel and throughout the Middle East have become ‘legitimate targets.’
It comes as Donald Trump threatened to hit Iran ‘extremely hard’ over the next ‘two or three weeks’ and bring it ‘back to the Stone Ages in his first primetime address to his nation since launching the war on February 28.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia and UAE said interceptions have taken place today as Trump delivered a primetime address in the US, which did not feature any major developments in the war.
