Summer is fast approaching, with eager fans looking forward to attending their favourite festivals.

The UK provides plenty of choice when it comes to festivals, with every type of music fan catered to across the country – whether you’re a hardcore rocker or raver, or someone who fancies something more tranquil.

From BST Hyde Park to Creamfields and BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Brits have plenty of options to choose from.

We’ve found out all the important bits you need to know for the country’s hottest events – from lineups, dates and tickets.

BST Hyde Park 

Where: Hyde Park, London

When: June 27-July 11

Headliners: Garth Brooks, Maroon 5, Mumford & Sons, Pitbull, Duran Duran and Lewis Capaldi

Support acts: Kesha, Scissor Sisters, OneRepublic

British Summer Time Hyde Park is a series of concerts held once a year in London’s Hyde Park. Tickets for this year are now on sale. 

Justin Bieber is also in talks to play at BST this year, months after headlining California’s Coachella Festival.

Creamfields

Where: Daresbury Estate, Cheshire

When: August 27-30 (Bank Holiday Weekend)

Headliners: Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia, Disclosure, Sonny Fodera and Underworld. 

The massive electronic lineup includes Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Carl Cox, Amelie Lens, Camelphat, and over 250 more acts across 30 stages.

Creamfields 2026, presented by Pepsi, is celebrating their 20-year anniversary at Daresbury this year. Tickets are now on sale, camping tickets are also available.

Lovebox Festival

Where: Dreamland, Margate

When: May 29-30

Headliners: Rudimental, Groove Armada, Scissor Sisters, Friendly Fires, Jayda G, DJ EZ, Horse Meat Disco, Girls Don’t Sync and 4am Kru.

One of London’s most iconic music festivals is being reimagined and finding a new home. This year brings together the acts who shaped the story of Lovebox and the new faces we are welcoming to Margate.

Where: Donington Park, Derby

When: June 10-14

Headliners: Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit and Guns ‘N’ Roses, as well as some of metal’s biggest and brightest acts at Donington Park in 2026.  

Britain’s best rock and metal festival will return to Donington Park this summer with over 90 international and national bands and artists.

Reading and Leeds

Where: Richfield Ave, Reading and Bramham Park, Leeds

When: August 28-30

Headliners: Fontaines D.C, Charli XCX, Skepta, RAYE, Dave, Sombr, Chase & Status, Florence + The Machine and MODEL.

Also on the line-up is ADELA, Fienessekid, Loyle Carner and newcomer Chloe Quisha.

Where: Heaton Park, Manchester

When: June 20-21

Headliners: Calvin Harris, Sammy Virji, Skepta, Zara Larsson, Rudimental, Chris Stussy and Nia Archives.

Parklife, presented by Pepsi, is known for its solid blend of rap, dance and R&B acts as well as big names in pop.

BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend

Where: Herrington Country Park, Sunderland

When: May 22-24

Headliners: Fatboy Slim, Fisher, MK, Sonny Fodera, Zara Larsson, Lola Young, Ellie Goulding, Louis Tomlinson, James Blake, Olivia Dean and Dermot Kennedy.

Isle Of Wight Festival

Where: Seaclose Park, Newport

When: June 18-21

Headliners: Lewis Capaldi, Calvin Harris, The Cure, Teddy Swims, Rita Ora, Rick Astley, Tom Grennan, Perrie and Joel Corry.

CarFest

Where: Silverstone Circuit, Northamptonshire

When: August 28-30

Headliners: Jessie J, Tom Jones, Nile Rodgers, Rick Astley, Sugababes, James Morrison, Gok Wan and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

CarFest, presented by bp, is packed with family-friendly fun, including KidsFest, FoodFest, and more, with camping family tickets on sale now. 

All Points East

Where: Victoria Park, London

When: August 22-30

Headliners: Lorde, Zara Larsson, PinkPantheress, Deftones, IDLES, Amyl And The Sniffers, Tyler, The Creator, Rex Orange County, Twenty One Pilots and Jorja Smith.

Camp Bestival

Where: Lulworth Castle, Dorset

When: July 30 – August 2

Headliners: Self Esteem, Billy Ocean and Black Grape, Bastille, Example, Sara Cox, Fatboy Slim, De La Soul and Brooke Combe.

The UK’s favourite family festival, presented by Debenhams, is heading back to Dorset and features the usual eclectic lineup of family entertainment and music from start to finish across a four-day camping extravaganza.

Neighbourhood Weekender

Where: Victoria Park, Warrington

When: May 23-34

Headliners: Richard Ashcroft, Kaiser Chiefs, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Melanie C and Example.
