The Trump administration on Friday released its long-awaited UFO files, publishing a batch of previously unseen videos, photos and records tied to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).
Hundreds of files were uploaded to the Department of War’s website, including footage and photographs captured during NASA’s Apollo 12 and Apollo 17 moon missions.
One image taken from the lunar surface appears to show three mysterious dots hovering in the dark sky above the moon.
An Apollo 17 mission transcript was also released, describing astronauts reporting strange objects moving near the spacecraft during flight.
‘Now we’ve got a few very bright particles or fragments or something that go drifting by as we maneuver,’ an operator told the command center.
‘Roger. Understand,’ the center replied. ‘There’s a whole bunch of big ones on my window down there – just bright. It looks like the Fourth of July out of Ron’s window,’ another operator added.
Another set of images included in the release came from the FBI, showing photographs taken on New Year’s Eve 1999 that appear to capture unidentified aerial objects near US military aircraft.
Other images feature snapshots taken by US military pilots, appearing to show mysterious objects streaking past aircraft mid-flight.

Trump posted on Truth Social moments after the release, saying he had directed the Secretary of War and other agencies to begin releasing files related to ‘alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs).’ ‘GOD BLESS AMERICA!’ the post ended.
The release comes months after President Donald Trump issued the order in February, tasking the Secretary of War Peter Hegseth with releasing all government files related to UAPs and extraterrestrials.
Hgeseth said in a statement: ‘The Department of War is in lockstep with President Trump to bring unprecedented transparency regarding our government’s understanding of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena.
‘These files, hidden behind classifications, have long fueled justified speculation, and it’s time the American people see it for themselves.
‘This release of declassified documents demonstrates the Trump Administration’s earnest commitment to unprecedented transparency.’
The release also features dozens of never-before-seen documents, including a military Mission Report, known as a MISREP, a standardized document used by the US armed forces to record operational incidents, including encounters involving UAP.
The report detailed an incident in which a military operator observed ‘several bright objects maneuvering quickly west to east northeast’ before tracking one of the objects with an onboard targeting pod for roughly 20 seconds.
According to the document, the object then dimmed and vanished from view.
One image released by the FBI included a rendered graphic overlay based on eyewitness reports from September 2023, allegedly depicting a bronze, ellipsoid-shaped object measuring between 130 and 195 feet long that witnesses claimed emerged from a bright light in the sky before vanishing instantly

Officials noted that the descriptions reflected the eyewitness account and should not be interpreted as confirmation of the object’s nature or capabilities.
Portions of the report were also redacted to protect the identities of witnesses and sensitive military locations, although the government said no information related to the reported UAP encounter itself had been withheld.
This is a developing story… More updates to come.
