Trump reveals his workout routine and outs close friends on Ozempic

Donald Trump has revealed his workout routine, or lack thereof.

At an Oval Office event touting the new Presidential Fitness Test Award, which offers students a performance-based fitness prize, Trump remarked on his own exercise.

‘I work out so much. Like, about one minute a day, max. If I’m lucky,’ the President joked as some Cabinet members and students stood behind him.

The President signed an order to reestablish the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition as well as the Presidential Fitness Test last year.

The action on Tuesday paves the way for all US schools to begin awarding the new prize to students. The national fitness exam began in the late 1950s until 2013, when President Obama replaced the test with another exam.

The test involves running or walking one mile, as many sit-ups as possible in 60 seconds, push-ups or pull-ups to failure, a shuttle run, and stretching.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy lauded Trump’s fitness and his ability to walk miles on his golf courses during the President’s weekend downtime.

The President joked that’s true when he’s ‘not using the golf cart’ and complimented RFK for being ‘in great shape,’ noting how good he looks while working out.

Trump was surrounded by professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau, retired pro golfer Gary Player, MLB pitcher Noah Syndergaard, and others.

DeChambeau, who is friends with the Trumps, said he had been pushing to reinstate the Presidential Fitness Test Award since 2013 after winning the award as a school kid.

The pro golfer, Trump noted, is in incredible shape and can put on muscle and lose weight ‘up and down like a yo-yo.’

‘He doesn’t need the fat shot,’ Trump joked about DeChambeau taking Ozempic or another GLP-1 weight-loss drug.

‘I said, ‘Did you ever take the shot?’ He didn’t know what I was talking about. ‘What shot?’ He can put it on. He is a scientist. A scientist with his body. A great guy and an absolute champion,’ the President said.

Trump has repeatedly joked about his close friends taking weight-loss drugs to reform their figures, though he has stopped short of outing who’s prescribed.

Some of the children who flanked the President told him they played several sports, including volleyball, football, gymnastics and more. One young man said he hopes to do powerlifting.

Trump said he wanted to take them outside the Oval Office to witness their athletic prowess himself once the event concluded.

Outside the Oval Office, mascots from the Washington Nationals MLB team were spotted dancing and tossing a football while children exercised on the South Lawn.
