Trump erupts at Epstein files and doubles down on conspiracy claim

President Donald Trump again threatened to sue over claims that he ever went to serial pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s private island.

Trump posted a furious rebuttal on Truth Social Monday afternoon, after previously saying he would sue former Daily Show host Trevor Noah over an Epstein island joke made about the president at Sunday night’s Grammy Awards.

‘Not only wasn’t I friendly with Jeffrey Epstein but, based upon information that has just been released by the Department of Justice, Epstein and a SLEAZEBAG lying “author” named Michael Wolff, conspired in order to damage me and/or my Presidency,’ Trump wrote.

Wolff, who authored the 2018 Trump book, Fire and Fury, has been a constant source of the president’s ire.

In previously released Epstein emails, Wolff told Epstein that he could be the ‘bullet’ to end Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.

Trump has also threatened to sue Wolff in recent days.

‘So much for the Radical Left’s hope against hope, some of whom I’ll be suing,’ Trump continued.

‘Additionally, unlike so many people that like to “talk” trash, I never went to the infested Epstein island but, almost all of these Crooked Democrats, and their Donors, did,’ Trump added.

President Donald Trump again threatened to sue over claims that he ever went to serial pedophile Jeffrey Epstein's private island

President Donald Trump fired off a Truth Social post Monday afternoon blasting those who have falsely claimed that he ever traveled to Jeffrey Epstein's island

There is no proof that Trump ever traveled to Epstein’s infamous island, however, there is documentation that the president traveled onboard Epstein’s private jet.

During Sunday’s Grammy Awards, Noah joked that Trump’s interest in Greenland is because ‘with Epstein’s island gone, he needs a new one to hang out with Bill Clinton.’

Trump took to Truth Social overnight Monday to bash the Grammys, calling them ‘virtually unwatchable!’

‘The host, Trevor Noah, whoever he may be, is almost as bad as Jimmy Kimmel at the Low Ratings Academy Awards,’ Trump wrote. ‘Noah said, INCORRECTLY about me, that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton spent time on Epstein Island. WRONG!!! I can’t speak for Bill, but I have never been to Epstein Island, nor anywhere close, and until tonight’s false and defamatory statement, have never been accused of being there, not even by the Fake News Media.’

He called Noah a ‘total loser.’

‘I’ll be sending my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless, dope of an M.C., and suing him for plenty$,’ Trump wrote, telling the comedian to look at other lawsuits that have brought the president large settlements.

‘Ask Little George Slopadopolus, and others, how that all worked out,’ he said. ‘Also ask CBS! Get ready Noah, I’m going to have some fun with you!’

Trump has been on a tear over the Epstein files, which have been a consistent political problem since he returned to office last January.

Another trove of documents was released by the Department of Justice on Friday, which includes more than 3 million pages of documents, along with 2,000 videos and around 180,000 images.

Around 4,500 of the documents mentioned the president’s name.

Among them was one email signed ‘Love, Melania’ that appears to be addressed to Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime friend and accomplice who is currently in prison.

The names of the sender and recipient of the October 23, 2002, email are redacted.

But message begins: ‘Dear G! How are you? Nice story about JE in NY mag. You look great on the picture.’

The email continues: ‘I know you are very busy flying all over the world. How was Palm Beach? I cannot wait to go down. Give me a call when you are back in NY. Have a great time!’

Before Friday’s release, the DOJ made public around 500,000 pages of materials.

The new batch of Epstein files contains some unsubstantiated claims about Trump and information about Epstein’s relationship with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, who was Epstein’s next-door neighbor in Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

There is no evidence of wrongdoing on Lutnick’s part.

The files include unverified tips about Trump solicited from the public, with the DOJ warning that they ‘may include fake or falsely submitted images, documents or videos.’

Trump’s name also appears in news articles and emails in the trove.

The DOJ’s release of Epstein documents on Friday likely will the agency’s last.

In November, lawmakers in both parties voted in favor of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which forced the DOJ’s release of the Epstein files.

Trump signed the bill into law on November 19.
