Tiger Woods’ insulting remarks to Vanessa Trump after his DUI arrest

Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump argued all weekend after the golf star’s DUI arrest on Friday.

Multiple sources have told the Daily Mail about the growing tension between the pair since Woods was arrested after rolling his Range Rover near his home in Jupiter Island, Florida.

We previously revealed how Vanessa was waiting for Woods, 50, after he was released from jail.

And it has now emerged that while their talks after the incident started in a positive tone, Woods has since left Vanessa, 48, infuriated.

One insider revealed: ‘She has gone from concern to anger. She was like “let’s solve this together” and his response was basically “yeah yeah yeah, I got it. It’s fine. It’s under control.” And she’s like “it is so obviously not under control.”‘

Most of Vanessa’s anger, it seems, comes from fearing for her own safety when she is in a car with the golf great, who has has now had four major incidents behind the wheel.

Tiger Woods and girlfriend Vanessa Trump have had a tough weekend after his DUI arrest

Woods crashed into a fire hydrant fleeing his family home on Thanksgiving in 2009 after his ex-wife Elin Nordegren discovered he had been cheating.

In 2017, he was found slumped behind the wheel of his car on the side of the road, engine running, after what Woods said had been a bad reaction to painkillers. And then in 2021, he shattered his right leg after a horrifying crash in California, where he rolled his car for the first time.

Now, if he and Vanessa are to have a future, she wants assurances that history will never repeat itself.

‘She is annoyed because he drives her and her kids around sometimes. She just thinks about all the times that she doesn’t know whether he was good to drive,’ the source added.

‘She’s a protective mom. And this is not just irresponsible, it’s dangerous. She needs some reassurance that this is not happening again.

‘Tiger’s response is “don’t worry, I’m fine”. So I don’t want to say that they’re on the rocks, but she is not going to put up with this. She needs stability and this is not stable.

‘If he can’t fix this, she will 100 percent walk. She’s trying to make that clear without it sounding like an ultimatum, but obviously it kind of is.’

Another source, however, has insisted this will serve as a sign to change for the 15-time Major winner, stressing that he just needs time to process what has happened.

Woods' attitude after the rollover crash has left Trump frustrated, an insider has revealed

Woods is driven home from jail after being bailed out by a friend late on Friday night

‘When he got out of custody, he was very apologetic. He really says he wants to do something about this, and it’s a wake-up call for him,’ the source explained.

‘But with Tiger, he has to figure out what’s best for himself. He has to decide how he is going to fix this, and what his plans are. nobody else can tell him what to do.

‘There are a lot of people in his life who want to make sure he’s okay. He will listen to our advice but he will make the ultimate decision of what he needs to do. So I would say that we need to be a little bit patient with him. He will figure it out. He’s faced worse.’

It emerged on Monday that Woods is hesitant to hire a personal driver because of fears they will leak information about his whereabouts.

The source says, however, that friends have urged Woods to reconsider his decision.

‘He can afford to get a driver who only drives him when he feels like he needs it,’ they said. ‘Someone who is always on call but he doesn’t have to use the driver if he doesn’t want.

‘That’s what I’m suggesting to him because he’s never going to stop driving altogether. I have faith that he will figure it out.’

Trump and Woods first started seeing each other around Thanksgiving 2024, with Daily Mail exclusively revealing that they were an item in March last year that they were an item.

Woods’ latest run-in with the law comes just as things were looking up for the golfing great.

The golf legend's last rollover crash came in 2021 in California, where the damage was worse

He was considering returning from a seventh back surgery to compete in The Masters at Augusta beginning April 9, having returned to the game last Tuesday in his ‘The Golf League’ event in Florida.

Vanessa was there that day, with daughter Kai, and Woods gave her a kiss on the cheek in an endearing moment in front of the watching world.

But then, on Friday afternoon, everything changed when he clipped a truck and trailer he was trying to overtake on Jupiter Island.

While he avoided serious injury and passed a breathalyser test, he refused to give a urine sample which led to him being arrested.
