The Pussycat Dolls have reportedly been forced to axe the US leg of their comeback tour due to dismal ticket sales.
Despite previously being a six piece band, Ashley Roberts, 44, Nicole Scherzinger, 47, and Kimberly Wyatt, 44, were reuniting as a trio for massive 53-date run across the UK, Europe and North America.
But the band have now been forced to scrap the 33 dates in their native US as well as Canada in a humiliating blow after poor sales left arenas 80% empty.
Even after slashing the price of seats to just $30 organisers had no choice but to pull the plug ahead of the first show in Palm Desert California on June 5.
A statement on Ticketmaster reads: ‘Unfortunately, the Event Organiser has had to cancel your event.’ before informing ticket holders they would receive a full refund.
According to to The Sun US rehearsals were due to start last month but were delayed before the tour was officially cancelled.

The trio will however continue the European leg of their tour kicking off in Copenhagen in September before shows in Paris, Warsaw and the UK.
Daily Mail have contacted The Pussycat Doll’s representatives for comment.
Nicole, Ashley and Kimberley have reunited for the first time since splitting 16 years ago.
But three of the bands members; Carmit Bachar, 51, Jessica Sutta, 43, and Melody Thornton, 41, have not returned for the tour.
Carmit and Jessica have since revealed they were both blindsided by the reunion and were not asked to take part.
Taking to Instagram, Carmit reposted a video of the girl group’s former producer Eddie Serrano criticising the three-piece reunion.
He said: ‘I’m here to talk about one thing… I have been very close friends to a lot of Pussycat Dolls, Carmit you know you’re my sister.
‘I’m very upset about this Pussycat Doll ‘reunion’… I do have a problem when I see my home girls, who were very instrumental in building the brand, not a part of this ‘reunion’.

‘We need to see them as a unit, not just as three girls that’s not the Pussycat Dolls, that’s just the ‘Pussy’ without the ‘Dolls.”
Alongside the clip, the singer wrote: ‘Luv you.’
Meanwhile, Jessica revealed she only found out about the reunion at the same time as the rest of the world.
Asked by a fan if she was going to meet up with the rest of the Pussycat Dolls, Jessica replied: ‘No, I’m not.’
‘They have been planning it for a year and blatantly didn’t ask Carmit and I. We are finding it all out the same time you are.’
The Pussycat Dolls first broke up in 2010, with Kimberly saying at the time she was ‘unable to grow creatively’ in the group.
Nicole went on to launch a solo career and the group reunited as a five-piece without Melody Thornton in 2019, releasing the single React. They intended to go on a reunion tour in 2020 but it was cancelled due to Covid.
