Sydney Sweeney enjoyed the LA Dodgers game on Tuesday just shortly after her surprise appearance on Fox for the pregame coverage of the World Series.
The blonde bombshell, 28, was all smiles as she cheered on the reigning World Series champions at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles alongside fellow A-list sports enthusiasts.
She was joined by Christy Martin — who she portrays in her new biopic, Christy, based on the former professional boxer’s real life story.
She also took to Instagram to share photos of her enjoying a hot dog with her gal pal, her former Anyone But You and Immaculate co-star Kaylee McGregor.
The actress styled her platinum blonde bob in Marilyn Monroe-inspired curls and repped the baseball team in a jersey paired with cowboy boots.
Underneath her open baseball jersey, the Euphoria star wore a low-cut, white camisole paired with Daisy Duke jean shorts.
She wore rectangular Prada sunglasses and a dainty, diamond tennis necklace for her effortlessly chic game-time look.
At the game, she was seen posing with Martin next to the last season’s World Series trophy after the Dodgers upset the New York Yankees in 2024.
Her attendance at the Dodgers game against the Toronto Blue Jays comes just after she set social media ablaze on Tuesday night after making a shock appearance on Fox’s pregame coverage of the World Series.
The actress surprised millions watching across America when she voiced the Game 4 intro just minutes before the game began.
Wearing a scarlet red dress, the blonde bombshell hyped up viewers; however, many did not appear to enjoy her on the screen.
‘Why is Sydney Sweeney narrating my pregame hype video?’ one social media user wrote, while another said seeing her was ‘bad vibes.’
One critic wrote: said: ‘The only thing more wooden than Sydney Sweeney’s delivery of that World Series hype spot is an actual baseball bat.’
A fourth commented: ‘Take Sydney Sweeney off my screen for the World Series.’
It was a predictable meltdown for many, with various posters immediately claiming that they were anticipating fury.
‘Every liberal watching the World Series just lost their s*** when Sydney Sweeney showed up. Gotta love it,’ one said.
Another wrote: ‘Get ready for the liberal meltdown. Should be good for a laugh.’
In the surprise appearance, Sweeney talked up the game in the soft voice she has become famous for in recent years.
‘Given the setting,’ she began, as the camera revealed her in her red dress, ‘it would be appropriate to dust the story with movie magic, right? Why not romanticize a bit?’
The camera then panned out to show Sweeney full-length, walking onto set while continuing to narrate.
Sweeney’s appearance on the biggest sporting stage comes as she promotes her latest movie, in which she plays boxer Christie Martin.
The Hollywood production tells the story of Martin’s life in the sport, alongside her struggles outside it.
The incredible true-life story builds towards a dramatic conclusion in which she is stabbed, shot and left for dead by her husband.
Christy will receive a theatrical release on November 7.
