Susanna Reid announced yet another extended break from Good Morning Britain on Wednesday’s episode of the ITV show – but manage to make a complete mess of the announcement.

The 54-year-old, who joined the GMB team in 2014 after presenting BBC Breakfast – was joined by Martin Lewis, 53, on set to discuss the latest news and headlines of the day.

Susanna regularly presents Good Morning Britain every Monday to Wednesday, with alternative Thursdays, and is one of the main anchor hosts.

At the end of Wednesday’s episode, Susanna told viewers: ‘I am off for a couple of walks… Couple of walks? A couple of nice walks!

‘Good Morning Britain is back tomorrow from 6am.’

It is not clear who will step in for Susanna during her time off, or when she will be back on our screens.

Ed Balls, 58, Adil Ray, 51, and Robert Rinder, 47, rotate on Fridays.

The star announced that she would be taking an extended break from the programme in an update to fans.

She told viewers she was taking her ‘holidays’ as the show wrapped.

The host did not say the exact date she’d return to screens, but that it would be at ‘term time’.

She said: ‘I am off on my holidays but I will see you at the star of the new term.’

Susanna shared a stunning snap of her incredible outfit that she rocked earlier this week.

The TV star wowed in a black and white shirt and black leather midi skirt.

Susanna wrote on Instagram: ‘TUESDAY! Shirt @hobbslondon Skirt @marksandspencer.’

Many rushed to share their kind words about her look.

‘Looking fantastic.’

‘You always smash it out the park with every look.’

‘Gorgeous.’

‘Beautiful always.’
