The Buckingham Palace garden party on Friday was a stylish affair, with several senior royals in attendance.
The Prince and Princess of Wales were joined by the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, as well as Zara Tindall, for the annual event.
While the men looked sharp in traditional morning dress, it was the women’s elegant outfits that stole the spotlight.
Surprisingly, however, florals were nowhere to be seen. Instead, the trio embraced a fresh palette of ivory and blue, alongside timeless polka dots and delicate lace detailing.
Below, I take a closer look at each outfit, including exact product matches and high street alternatives.
The Princess of Wales
Catherine, Princess of Wales, reaffirmed her penchant for Self-Portrait as she stepped out in a classic blazer dress from the coveted label.
True to the brand’s signature aesthetic, the design combined a tailored square neck blazer with a flared midi skirt, delicately finished with polka dot detailing.
Kate completed the look with a vintage Mitzi Lorenz straw hat, alongside her Ralph Lauren Celia court shoes and a woven clutch from Forever New.

The Duchess of Edinburgh
Sophie recycled her elegant powder blue Roland Mouret dress, last worn to the 2024 Garden Party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Scotland.
The short-sleeved knitted midi dress featured a distinctive flat bow detail on the shoulder and a flattering fit-and-flare silhouette.
She accessorised with a coordinating Jane Taylor hat, Prada suede pumps and a Sophie Habsburg clutch.

Zara Tindall
Zara Tindall opted for a new dress from one of her favourite Australian labels, Leo Lin.
Based on the brand’s Cleo style, the custom creation featured intricate laser-cut detailing across the skirt, along with a cinched waist and short sleeves.
She elevated the look with a Sarah Cant hat, an embroidered Aspinal of London clutch and LK Bennett suede court shoes.
