Sarah Pidgeon and her Love Story co-star Paul Anthony Kelly reunited as they both attended the 2026 Met Gala in New York City on Monday.
The 29-year-old actress – who recently revealed that she ‘struggles to speak up’ for herself – joined other celebrities on the glitzy red carpet alongside Kelly, 37, including Nicole Kidman and Lauren Sanchez.
Pidgeon portrayed fashion icon Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy in the controversial FX/Hulu show, while Kelly played John F. Kennedy Jr.
While her on-screen character usually opted for muted tones, Pidgeon was radiant in an eye-catching dress that comprised of yellow fabric around the bust which was styled into a bow as the material fell down her sides.
A matching high-waisted skirt clung to her figure and she allowed her blonde locks to cascade past her shoulders in light waves.

The first episode premiered on February 12 and the finale dropped the following month on March 26.

During an interview with Vogue, Pidgeon opened up about portraying Bessette-Kennedy on the screen.
‘The online conversations at the beginning of the process served as a reminder of how important it was to get our portrayal of Carolyn correct. She grew even more important to me.’
She added, ‘People really, really love Carolyn, and my priority every single day on set was doing justice to her legacy.’
The actress later told the outlet what she hoped the audience took away from the series.
‘What I hope is that people feel a little closer to knowing the woman behind the clothes.’
Pidgeon continued, ‘She is known as this minimalist fashion icon, but I learned that she was also vivacious, funny, and had a wildness about her.’

Bessette and Kennedy Jr. first met in 1992 when he was in a relationship with Daryl Hannah.
The pair later began dating in 1994 and their romance was thrust in the public spotlight. They tied the knot during a private ceremony in September 1996 on the Georgia island of Cumberland.
Three years later, the couple as well as Lauren Bessette tragically died in a plane crash while en route to Martha’s Vineyard on July 16, 1999.
Kennedy Jr. had been piloting a Piper Saratoga at the time of the crash.
