Sam Fox’s wife Linda Birgitte Olsen paid tribute to ‘the sexiest woman in every room’ in a social media post on Wednesday as she celebrated her 60th birthday.
The former Page 3 star – whose full name is Samantha Olson Fox – is one of the UK’s most famous glamour models following a three-year stint at The Sun.
Leaving her modelling days behind in 1986, Sam released her debut album and reached No.1 in 17 countries with her single, Touch Me.
Celebrating her wife’s incredible life and their romance, Linda penned: ‘Happy 60th Birthday to my absolute superstar, my troublemaker, my rock ‘n’ roll queen… and somehow still the sexiest and most beautiful woman in every room
‘Honestly, how is this even legal? 60?! You have been everywhere, you seen and done «everything», you have met lots of interesting people.
‘You’ve got so much experience, wisdom, and stories to fill a lifetime… actually, let’s be honest — probably over 120 years’ worth. But at home you are just my little baby girl.
‘Living with you is like having a permanent front-row ticket to the fastest rollercoaster, can never complain about boredom.’
Linda also referenced the 40th anniversary of Sam’s hit single, and said: ‘And let’s just take a moment… not only are you turning 60, but it’s also 40 years this year since «Touch Me» became a number one hit in 17 countries and you were known everywhere…
‘Oh… and as if that wasn’t enough, this month is also our 10 year anniversary.
‘I absolutely love travelling the world with you and all the adventures we keep having together… but my favourite place in the world is still at home with you, curled up with our four cats (and another little one on the way)… that’s my kind of paradise.
‘Thank you for filling my life with so much love, laughter, adventures and just the right amount of chaos. My friend, wife, twinflame and love of my life :A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Love you to the moon and back.’
Linda’s post included a series of saucy snaps of Sam in swimwear, reminiscent of her former Page 3 glory days.
It also featured pictures of Sam and Linda on holiday together, including one photo where they posed either side of a camel.
Linda also highlighted a previous trip to Venice, where they stood beside the canal.
She also shared pictures with her sons Noah and Adam, who Sam is stepmother to.
Linda met her wife a year after the death of her former partner, Myra Stratton from cancer.
Sam, who suffered a cancer scare herself two years ago after finding a lump in her vocal cords, announced in 2018 she had finally found love again with the Norwegian single mother-of-two.
The couple got married in a lavish Eurovision Song Contest-themed ceremony at the Kings Oak Hotel in Epping Forest, Essex, in June 2022.
She arrived at the ceremony in a white taxi decorated with pink ribbons and a stunning blush heart-shaped floral arrangement on the bonnet, while the number plate read ‘Sam and Linda are getting married, 18th June 2022’.
They were forced to postpone their 2020 wedding due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The former model was given away by her mother Carole and stepfather Colin, who walked her down the aisle on crutches after recently breaking his femur.
Sam previously spoke about her relationship with Linda after she left the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2017.
‘I’ve now [fallen] in love with another woman,’ she said. ‘I met somebody a couple of months ago and I’m very happy. As you get older life goes so quick.’
She also discussed her sexuality whilst inside the house, and said she hadn’t fallen in love with a woman until she met Myra.
Sam said: ‘I just believe that love is far greater than anything. You can’t help who you fall in love with.
‘If you fall in love with somebody, you fall in love with them. You can’t help that can you.’
In 2024 Sam was accused of assaulting her wife during a drunken fight on a British Airways flight from Heathrow to Munich, which forced it to abandon take-off.
The charge was dropped before the trial and was handed a community order and a fine for the charge of being drunk and disorderly.
Months after the incident, Samantha visited a retreat in Thailand, as she revealed she felt ‘healed’ after ‘detoxing her body and mind’.
