Romeo Beckham has led birthday tributes to Victoria Beckham as she celebrates her 52nd birthday on Friday.
The 23-year-old was the first of Victoria’s offspring to take to social media to celebrate her day with a gushing tribute.
Sharing a snap of them both, Romeo penned: ‘Happy Birthday mum love you so so much have the best day @victoriabeckham.’
He also shared a picture of them together watching Sir David at one of his football matches when he was a young boy.
While Cruz has yet to share his own tribute, his girlfriend Jackie Apostel posted: ‘Haaaaapy birthday @victoriabeckham.
‘Thank you for raising my favourite human in the whole world. How lucky are we to be surrounded by your kindness and inspired by your spirit everyday. Love u!!!!’
Victoria’s fellow Spice Girl Mel B also shared a tribute, writing: ‘My darling Vic Happy Birthday Soooooooo much LUV!!!!’
Meanwhile, her company also made sure to mark her day, sharing a clip of her alongside the caption: ‘There’s only one @VictoriaBeckham. To our Founder and Creative Director, a very happy birthday.’
Victoria had kickstarted her birthday celebrations early with dinner with her daughter Harper at Casadonna in Miami.
The mother and daughter duo shared a sweet embrace as Victoria was surprised with a white birthday cake.
The designer slipped into a glamorous navy gown, which costs £990, from her Victoria Beckham collection.
‘So I’m here in Miami and tonight I’m going out with my girlfriends for my birthday and I just got this amazing navy blue jersey dress which I love’, she said.
‘It is just the perfect party dress for a night out with my girlfriends.’
Days before her birthday, Victoria addressed her eldest son Brooklyn’s estrangement from the family.
She insisted that she and husband David have always ‘tried to protect and love our children’.
The Spice Girl was asked about her relationship with Brooklyn in a new interview with the Wall Street Journal.
Whilst the magazine says ‘she does not reply with his name,’ the mother of four, 51, has, for the first time, spoken directly about their ongoing feud.
‘I think that we’ve always — we love our children so much’, she said. ‘We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be.
‘And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it’.
Brooklyn, 27, cut ties with his family in a scathing social media statement in January, declaring he has no plans to reconcile with his famous parents and accusing them of ‘controlling him for most of his life’.
Victoria was also asked about whether she feels ‘remorse’ about bringing her family, including her four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, as well as her parents, into the public spotlight.
‘I wouldn’t say it comes with guilt, I’d say that there was a lot of adjusting from my mum and dad, when all of a sudden there were paparazzi outside their house,’ she replied. ‘We’ve really taken our families on this ride with us’.
David and Victoria haven’t spoken to Brooklyn since last May, when he and his wife Nicola Peltz snubbed the former footballer’s 50th birthday celebrations.
Brooklyn and Nicola’s lawyers wrote to the Beckhams’ legal team demanding that they only converse through them.
Shortly before Christmas, Brooklyn blocked his parents on Instagram, and in January, he posted a brutal, bombshell six-page letter on the social media platform.
