It’s been nearly a year since the thyroid/prostate cancer survivor’s health put a ‘devastating’ stop to three of his Colosseum concerts in order to ‘recover from the flu.’

In 2024, Stewart declared that he would stop staging ‘large-scale world tours’ in favor of ‘smaller venues and more intimacy’ but had no plans on retiring since ‘I love what I do, and I do what I love.’

The Swing Fever singer – who boasts 1.7 million Instagram followers – noted: ‘I’m fit, have a full head of hair and can run 100 meters in 18 seconds [on my private track].’

Stewart also reportedly keeps fit in his ‘massive’ gym and indoor pool at his 10-bedroom 18th-century, Grade II-listed manor Durrington House in Essex, England.

‘I keep myself very fit. I played soccer all my life – don’t so much anymore, because I had a knee replacement. And I’ve always had a trainer – same guy for 38 years,’ the two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer told AARP last year.

‘We do a lot of underwater training, where the trainer throws a brick into the pool and I have to dive in, push the brick to the end of the pool, and come up.’
