Princess Anne was all smiles as she braved the rain to watch her son Peter Phillips marry NHS nurse Harriet Sperling in an ‘intimate’ Cotswolds ceremony today.
The Princess Royal, 75, beamed as she arrived at All Saints Church in Kemble alongside the King and Queen and other members of the Royal family to watch her only son tie the knot.
The mother of the groom looked radiant in a yellow jacket and shawl draped over a floral gown, which she paired with a silk yellow hat with a bow that appeared to be the same one she donned at her daughter Zara Phillips’s christening in 1981.
Her new daughter-in-law, 45-year-old paediatric nurse Harriet, wore a stunning lace Emilia Wickstead bridal gown and the Pragnell family tiara to the ceremony, which marks one of the biggest royal occasions of this year.
Harriet’s wedding train was held by her three bridesmaids, her daughter Georgina, 14, and Peter’s children, Isla, 14, and Savannah, 15, with former wife Autumn Kelly, who all sported elegant floral garlands and matching white dresses from the same designer.
Guests at the event included King Charles III and Queen Camilla, who arrived by helicopter and left to attend the Befred Derby Day’s big race at 4pm.
The King, 77, wore a pin-striped suit and cream waistcoat with a blue shirt and tie, while the Queen Consort, 78, was dressed in a butter yellow dress and jacket paired with a Lady Dior quilted handbag.
They were joined by the Prince and Princess of Wales, who were met with cheers from well-wishers who had gathered outside the Gloucestershire church to catch a glimpse of the royals.

The future Queen, 44, was the picture of elegance in a £750 Roland Mouret dress and Jane Taylor hat, while Prince William, 43, was smart in a blue waistcoat and matching tie.
Groom Peter Phillips – who is the eldest grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II, and 19th in the line of succession – was also supported by his sister Zara, 45, and her husband, former rugby ace Mike Tindall at the nuptials.
Sister of the groom Zara wore a striking blue Rebecca Vallance dress and made a bold statement with silver heels to match.
Zara and Mike’s children, Mia, 12, Lena, seven, and Lucas Tindall, five, also attended the service, alongside the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.
Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, was a vision in blue as she arrived at the church with her husband, Prince Edward, 62.
Also in attendance were Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, who have kept a relatively low profile following the controversies surrounding their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The shamed former-prince, 66, remains under police investigation after he was arrested in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
He is facing allegations he sent confidential government documents to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein while working as a trade envoy between 2001 and 2011.

Mr Mountbatten-Windsor has previously denied any wrongdoing related to Epstein and has publicly said he regrets their friendship.
His ties to the convicted sex offender forced him to step down from his royal duties and he was stripped of his royal patronages in January 2022.
Prince William was seen giving his cousin Princess Beatrice a kiss on the cheek before the service, as she arrived with Eugenie and their husbands, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Jack Brooksbank.
Princess Beatrice, 37, wore an Alice band and a green and white printed dress, while Princess Eugenie, who is due to give birth to her third child this summer, was dressed in all navy with matching shoes and a hat.
They arrived with smiles despite an ‘outrageous’ National Audit Office report revealing the sisters have never paid a penny in rent despite doing no royal duties.
It revealed the York sisters, who perform no royal duties, have been secretly subsidised for years, not only by their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, but now by King Charles.
Eugenie divides her time between her £3.6million Portuguese home and London, boasting a star-studded list of neighbours, including fashion designer Christian Louboutin as well as F1 racing drivers.
Meanwhile, Beatrice, stayed at her apartment, which she shares with her husband and their family, whilst also owning a multi-million pound home in the Cotswolds.

Both rents, the report reveals, are paid to the Royal Household entirely by Charles from the Privy Purse, which is made up of his Duchy of Lancaster income and other private funds.
No taxpayer money was involved, but the homes are situated in occupied royal palaces, which are maintained by public funding via the Sovereign Grant, which was effectively reimbursed by the monarch on their behalf.
