Prince Harry’s ex Chelsy Davy shares rare picture of husband Sam

Prince Harry’s ex Chelsy Davy shares rare picture of husband Sam,

Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy has shared a rare photograph of her Eton-educated hotelier husband Sam Cutmore-Scott for their fourth wedding anniversary.

The Zimbabwe-born entrepreneur, 40, who dated Prince Harry on-and-off for seven years from 2004, marked the milestone on Instagram with three sweet snaps and captioned the post: ‘Four years, three kids, two very tired people. Happy anniversary Sam.’

Chelsy and Sam tied the knot during a relaxed beach wedding in Mauritius in 2022 and welcomed their third child together, son Finn, last month.

One photo showed baby Finn napping with his father as Sam held the newborn in his arms as the typically guarded Chelsy shared a rare public update about her family life.

In another picture, Chelsy, who juggles motherhood with running her jewellery brand Aya, held onto her husband’s wrist as she showed off the sapphire engagement ring and wedding band she designed.

The last photo showed Finn’s siblings, son Leo, four, and daughter Chloe, two, fawning over their baby brother.

Chelsy wed Oxford-graduate Sam, who was in the year above Harry at Eton, in a secret ceremony in 2022.

At the time, the Daily Mail’s Diary Editor Richard Eden reported that ‘very few people knew about the wedding’ after Chelsy gave birth to Leo earlier in the year ‘without virtually anyone knowing she was pregnant’.

Sam is the brother of Jack Cutmore-Scott, the dashing Hollywood actor best known for his role in Christopher Nolan’s Oscar-winning film Tenet and the drama series Deception.

He is the managing director at The Harper Hotel in Holt, the family business, and the couple relocated to Mauritius after previously splitting their time between Chiswick and Norfolk.

The tropical island has a special significance for Sam and Chelsy, who tied the knot at the Paradis Beachcomber hotel four years ago.

Photos from the ceremony showed Chelsy opted for a boho-chic white dress with cutouts that she bought at a hotel boutique ‘the day before my wedding’, Chelsy told the Standard.

Sam also kept things casual and said ‘I do’ in a navy linen shirt and a pair of white shorts.

The fiercely private entrepreneur announced the birth of her daughter Chloe in a similarly low key fashion in September 2024, when Chelsy unveiled a jewellery collection named after ‘my baby girl’.

Announcing Finn’s birth on Mother’s Day last month, Chelsy posted a series of adorable photos of her cradling him while  as his two older siblings look on lovingly.

Chelsy said in a heartfelt message that ‘returning to those hazy newborn days has been a beautiful reminder of just how remarkable mothers are’.

She added that running her jewellery label Aya while raising three children is a ‘jungle’ but it’s one that ‘I’ve chosen’.

Chelsy also celebrated the ‘freedom’ women today have ‘to shape our lives in the way that feels right’ and wished her followers a ‘happy Mother’s Day’.

She found love with Sam after an ‘on-again, off-again’, relationship with Harry, who had told friends before they split in 2011 that she was ‘the best thing that’s ever happened to me’.

They had met in London when they were both at school but got together in 2004, during Harry’s gap year travels in Zimbabwe, where Chelsy’s millionaire father owns and runs a game reserve.

It became so serious palace officials remarked that he had started calling her ‘wifey’ and she in turn called him ‘hubby’.

It was clearly serious when Chelsy would not only attend Harry’s cousin Peter Phillips’s wedding to Autumn Kelly – where she was introduced to the Queen – but she would also be invited to then-Prince Charles’s 60th birthday celebrations.

But the pressures of their conflicting careers and long periods apart as Harry served in Afghanistan took their toll yet again. They split in 2010 and Chelsy has remained largely out of the spotlight in the years since.

Once party-loving Chelsy, who was born in Zimbabwe and now runs a jewellery and luxury travel business, revealed in 2020 that she had a serious boyfriend.

At the time she did not give his name, explaining: ‘There is someone, and I am quite taken by this one, but it’s very new and I don’t want to say too much.’

Her last known boyfriend before then was dashing television producer James Marshall, from whom she split in 2018.
