Victoria and David Beckham let their hair down in style

The newly-knighted Sir David Beckham celebrated in style on Tuesday night hours after receiving his investiture from King Charles at Windsor Castle.

David’s close friend Gordon Ramsay threw a huge party at his Chelsea, London restaurant, where the star celebrated into the early hours with his nearest and dearest.

Sir David looked a little weary as he emerged from the extravagant event at 1am, clutching the hand of Victoria, who hid any signs of merriment behind her large sunglasses.

David couldn’t bare to be parted from his investiture medal, holding onto his wife with one hand and the day’s precious souvenir with the other.

Lady Beckham had changed out of her smart navy dress worn at the day ceremony, opting for a slinky black floor length number and a fur bolero for the night’s festivities.

David meanwhile was looked the part in a classic velvet tux, having earlier worn a bespoke suit created by his designer wife for the royal ceremony.

The couple’s three youngest children Romeo, 24, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14, were also dressed to impress as they left the venue with Cruz’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 29.

Harper, 14, matched her mother in a long satin slip dress, in a baby pink hue, accessorising with a feathered bolero jacket.

Jackie stood out in her burnt orange silk halterneck dress whilst her boyfriend showed off his sense of style in quirky braces.

A source close to the family revealed to the Daily Mail that family friend Gordon was delighted to host the dinner party as his gift to his best pal

‘As David’s best friend Gordon decided the best gift was to throw him a wonderful dinner,’ an insider spilled.

‘David was there, there their kids, his sisters, parents and Victoria’s mum and dad.’

Sir David was made a knight of the British empire for services to sport and charity during Tuesday’s investiture, notably his impact on football over a twenty year period and subsequent ambassadorial role with UNICEF.

The former footballer was welcomed by King Charles while receiving his knighthood at Windsor Castle for services to sport and charity, and his younger sons were among the first to offer their congratulations.

Romeo shared a family photo as David celebrated the honour with wife Victoria and his three youngest children Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14.

The photo showed David holding hands with Victoria and Harper with his sons, looking smart in matching suits smiling alongside them.

‘No one deserves this more than you, love you so much xxx Congrats Sir dad’, Romeo captioned the photo.

There was no sign of David and Victoria’s eldest son David and his wife Nicola Peltz at the celebrations. They have also so far stayed silent on social media.

Of course, the LA-based couple may have not been awake for David’s big moment back home in the UK, but any social media snub would be just the latest slight after months of family feuding.

When it was announced that his father was to be knighted back in the spring, Brooklyn didn’t congratulate him either publicly or privately, while his other two sons made a huge fuss of the news on social media.

Victoria meanwhile shared a post for her ‘kind, humble, hardworking’ husband, writing: ‘David, from the moment I met you 28 years ago, you’ve always been so proud to represent your country.’

‘Whether on or off the pitch, no one loves England or respects our Royal Family more, so to see you honoured by The King today is something I’ll forever cherish.’

‘You’ve achieved so much, and yet you’re still the same kind, humble, hardworking man I met nearly 30 years ago, as well as the most amazing husband and father. I’ve never felt prouder than I do today. Sir David, we all love you so much xxx’

Brooklyn is said to have become increasingly estranged from the family after failing to attend any of his father’s 50th birthday celebrations in May.
