The brand-new immersive Polar Express experience coming to the UK

All aboard the Polar Express… the next stop is Manchester, and it’s set to arrive this Christmas.

The brand-new immersive Believe! The Polar Express Experience promises to bring magic and enchanting moments to the O2 Victoria Warehouse.

Families can step inside the charming world of Hero Boy and Hero Girl’s journey to the North Pole.

The ‘completely unique experience’ runs from November 14 to December 31, with tickets ranging from £39.50 to £49.50.

Differing from the classic The Polar Express Train Ride, the whole new attraction won’t have any moving locomotives.

Instead, passengers will immerse themselves into a walkthrough of the Polar Express world in a more ‘hands-on environment’.

Josh Baker, an associate producer for Plus Live, one of the companies running the attraction, tells the Daily Mail the experience would be ‘one of a kind’.

‘I don’t think there are any other Christmas events like this. It’s got something for everyone,’ he says.

Josh explains he is ‘particularly excited about the set’ and adds: ‘We’ve been working very hard with Warner Brother to create a design that truly stands out’.

Guests will start the experience in Hero Boy’s bedroom and then step into a train carriage.

They will then embark on a journey through ‘magical landscapes’ like the Caribou Forest, icy lakes.

Beloved characters including Hero Boy, Hero Girl, the Conductor and Hobo will be on board to meet, too.

What’s more, guests will even be treated to a dazzling Northern Lights display, before ending at the North Pole.

It has been crafted by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, Rail Events Inc., and Plus Live Events.

The interactive experience will include hot chocolate, a cookie and passengers will receive the iconic golden ticket just like in the film.

Children are encouraged to wear their favourite pyjamas and join in with the Pyjama Party.

There will also be a ‘Naughty or Nice Machine’ for those hoping to discover their fate this Christmas, and a letter writing station to send notes to Santa.

Father Christmas will be there himself, too, and guests can craft a festive decoration as a keepsake.

There will even be opportunities for professional photographs to help capture the special family day.

A ‘Relaxed Performance Day’ for guests with neurodiverse conditions will also be held on November 19 and December 11, 2025.
