Michelle Dockery made a rare appearance with her husband Jasper Waller-Bridge on Tuesday, as the couple were seen together for the first time since it was revealed they’re expecting their first child.
The Downton Abbey star, 44, was among many stars who attended the press night for the play 1536 at the Ambassadors Theatre.
Michelle, who married Jasper in 2023, cosied up to her partner as they left the event in London’s West End together.
In September, Michelle revealed she was expecting her first child after she debuted her bump while attending the premiere of Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale.
Michelle and television producer Jasper, 38, the brother of Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge, met in 2019 after being introduced by mutual friends.
They married in 2023 in front of a star-studded crowd, including many of Michelle’s Downton Abbey co-stars such as Lily James, Hugh Bonneville and Laura Carmichael, who played her on-screen sister Lady Edith and was bridesmaid on the big day.

Michelle revealed that she and Jasper were expecting their first child at the London premiere of Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale in September, where she appeared in a dusky blue gown with a prominent bump.
When asked how she would say goodbye to her character, Michelle said: ‘I don’t think I will ever say goodbye to Mary or Downton.
‘Mary will always be part of me, as will Downton Abbey as a whole. We are such a family that, for us, it never really ends.’
Michelle previously spoke about her pregnancy during an appearance on Jimmy Fallon to promote the final Downton Abbey film.
‘I’m feeling great thanks,’ she told the host as he opened with a reference to her pregnancy. ‘I’m entering my peppy phase.’
She was previously engaged to PR director John Dineen, who died from a rare form of cancer in 2015.
The Mail on Sunday first revealed that Dockery found love for the first time since Dineen’s passing after they met through mutual friends.
In January 2022 the couple announced they were to marry in an announcement in The Times newspaper.
