Man United ‘hold talks with Brighton star’s camp over a transfer’

Manchester United are interested in Brighton left back Pervis Estupinan, according to a report. 

Estupinan has been a regular in the Seagulls’ side since his £14.9million move from Villarreal in 2022. 

The Ecuadorian made 30 Premier League appearances last season and contributed with a goal and an assist. 

He has two years remaining on his Brighton deal, but the club are open to offers this summer, according to talkSPORT. 

Fabian Hurzeler’s side have already strengthened at left back this summer following the arrival of Maxim De Cuyper from Club Brugge. 

The outlet claims that United have held talks with Estupinan representatives, but face competition from AC Milan.

Ruben Amorim remains keen to strengthen his squad following a torrid campaign last season

Luke Shaw and Patrick Dorgu are options in the same position for Ruben Amorim, who is expected to continue with his wing back system next season.

Meanwhile, Tyrell Malacia is expected to depart the club and is one of five players that have been frozen out of pre-season training. 

United have already added Matheus Cunha from Wolves for £62.5m and Paraguayan teenage sensation Diego Leon for £7m from Cerro Porteno to their squad.

Amorim’s side are also locked in talks with Brentford over a move for Bryan Mbeumo 

The Red Devils’ pre-season schedule begins with a clash against Leeds in Stockholm on July 19 before their travel Stateside.
