Love Island’s Chloe Burrows ‘calls in sick’ to her KISS show

Chloe Burrows left listeners in stitches on Monday when she ‘called in sick’ to her KISS Breakfast show – just hours after bragging about her Coachella trip.

The Love Island star, 30, who shot to fame on the seventh series of the show in 2021, left her co-star Tyler West hosting on his own after her sicky stunt.

Tyler called the star live on-air, leading to a groggy sounding Chloe answering the phone and insisting she was ‘stuck’ at the US music festival.

Having had a far more wholesome weekend having run the London Landmarks Half Marathon, Tyler tried to call his colleague and she answered saying: ‘Who is this’ and ‘What do you mean Tyler?’, to which he insisted he was just checking in.

The star has been parading her Coachella antics on social media, with endless posts alongside fellow Islanders including her best friend Millie Court.

Chloe and Tyler were named as Kiss FM’s Breakfast Show hosts in December last year after Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely stepped down.

Despite admitting she was ‘buzzing’ about scoring the role, it seemed her partying was more important over the weekend with her hilarious antics.

Over the weekend, Chloe turned heads in a black leather lace-up corset top and matching hot pants. Flaunting her toned physique, she teamed the look with black knee-high boots and toted her essentials in a silver shoulder bag.

The 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is lighting up the desert in Indio, California, over two weekends.

The Love Island girls, including Chloe, were repeatedly discussing their excitement to see Justin Bieber on Saturday – however his performance received a lukewarm reception.

The festival has been dubbed ‘Bieberchella’ in a nod to the frenzy surrounding the Canadian’s star’s stage return and his first headline slot at the Indio desert event.

But his stripped back set, which saw him perform in a hoodie whilst surfing YouTube for his old hits, left many fans underwhelmed, with debate centered on his unconventional staging and focus on new music.

Fans who were in the crowd have now spoken out, with British influencer and self-confessed Belieber Jack Remmington criticising the singer’s focus on his at-home audience.

The middle segment of the show saw Justin sat on a stool with his laptop next to him, pulling up old videos and checking the livestream to see what tracks fans wanted.

He then sang along to a medley of blink-and-miss it snippets of his most beloved songs like Baby, Favorite Girl, Beauty and a Beat, Never Say Never and Confident, a move which divided fans.

Posting from the festival on Sunday, Jack told his Instagram followers: ‘My main takeaway is not even a Bieber thing, it’s more indicative of the industry nowadays, which is that festival performers are increasingly not prioritising the live audience who have bought tickets to see the artist.’
