Love Island: All Stars fans have mocked a couple who ‘were forced to have secret garden meet or be sent home’ as they were left cringing by a toe-curling conversation on Monday.
Despite only being on our screens a number of days, the current Islanders have certainly brought in the drama to the villa.
During the most recent episode of the ITV2 show, Jess Harding, 25, took Charlie Frederick, 31, to the secret garden for a chat.
Jess is currently in a couple with Tommy Bradley, 22, meanwhile Charlie is single, after bombshell Konnor Ewudzi, 30, stole Millie Court, 29, off him at the latest recoupling ceremony.
She told him: ‘I wanted to see where your head is at, I feel like we do get on.’
Charlie replied: ‘Obviously I do enjoy flirting with you, I fancy you, of course.
‘Thing is, I’m single here. Obviously me and Mills have this connection, I’ve spent more time with her, but I’m looking over at you like “Damn!”
‘If you guys weren’t friends, I’d be like “F**k it!” I think because you are friends…’
Jess said: ‘Yeah it’s hard, I don’t want to like ignore that. I will tell Mills.’
‘I did tell her,’ Charlie said. ‘Well I kissed her last night, then told her after…’
Jess laughed and asked: ‘What did she say?’
Charlie told her: ‘I think it would be good if you pulled her, just to speak to her about it.’
But those watching at home were very confused about their sudden connection and think that someone stepped in.
Many rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts.
‘so which love island producer told charlie and jess to …’
‘The producers watching at this Charlie and Jess interaction knowing they’ve got their movie night footage sorted.’
‘what’s happening??? where has charlie and jess come from??’
And others shared on Reddit what they thought, and according to The Sun, one said: ‘Looooool producers told jess get to work or go home. I’m glad though.’
‘producers nudged Jess frr.’
‘The producers had a word with Jess then and told her to do something and Tommy having a rerun of his summer experience were the girl he likes doesn’t like him anywhere near as much.’
Daily Mail have contacted ITV for comment.
It is clear that another love triangle is brewing in South Africa.
The latest Love Island All Stars instalment saw Millie left fuming as Charlie showed some flirty interest in Jess.
Later Millie confronted him about their chat in the Secret Garden to which he shot back: ‘We’re not in a relationship’.
Jess was then also left raging at him as Millie told her that Charlie had made out she’d ‘stuck it on him’ rather than the other way around.
Viewers reacted to the scenes as they penned on X: ‘oh my god, charlie is so manipulative #LoveIsland #AllStars.’,
‘I’m confused… Unsure what anyone sees in Charlie?? #loveisland #allstars #LoveIslandAllStars.’,
‘That last conversation between Millie and Charlie. Chloe Burrows needs to send a plane over stat and tell Millie NO WAY NO WAY.’,
‘when charlie does millie dirty i really don’t care to see her crying about it bc the signs are so glaringly obvious and she’s not doing anything about it.’,
‘Charlie is shuffling between two winners! He’s playing a game #loveislandallstars #LoveIsland.’
It comes after fans branded ‘controlling and possessive’ Charlie ‘the biggest red flag’ as jealousy with a rival hunk boiled over on Sunday evening.
Is Charlie being unfair to Millie and Jess, or is this just how Love Island should be played?
Comment nowThe episode of the ITV2 show saw bombshells Samie Elishi, 25, AJ Bunker, 33, and Konnor Ewudzi, 30, enter the villa seconds after the recoupling ceremony.
Charlie was over the moon that he finally got to be in a couple with Millie, but Konnor stole her off him, leaving him single.
The next day, Konnor pulled Millie for a chat and told her that her leg looked like it was ‘burning up’, so rubbed some on her skin for her, right in front of Charlie.
Charlie watched on with Belle Hassan, 27, and decided to interrupt their friendly chat.
As they sat down on a bean bag together, he asked Millie: ‘How was that conversation? I saw him rubbing your leg…’
Millie replied: ‘He seems lovely but I don’t feel like there’s a flirty…’
Charlie interrupted her and said: ‘Yeah but touching your leg? That’s a bit early for that business ain’t it? That’s a bit too much, too soon?’
Talking in the Beach Hut, Millie said: ‘I’m not feeling flirty today, so I was kind of glad when Charlie pulled me away.’
Although Millie was very appreciative of Charlie, viewers rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share how they weren’t a fan of what he did.
‘Charlie is getting a bit controlling #loveisland.’
‘NOT CHARLIE BEING POSSESSIVE!’
‘Watching Charlie be so possessive over Millie?? Does he think he’s getting a win this way?’
‘Charlie needs to chill mate.’
‘I never like the territorial married off in 3 days couples so charlie is eerie to me.’
‘Charlie is a bit possessive, no?’
‘Hmmmm i might be wrong but charlie is giving [red flag emoji]. Like chill, it’s day 4.’
‘Why are these people so possessive already? First Charlie going to get Millie away from Konnor, now Helena calling Shaq her man??’
‘Charlie……. #LoveIsland, with a person holding up a red flag.’
‘What kinda red flag move was that from Charlie?!?! Get outta there you control freak.’
‘Can charlie actually relax it’s genuinely been 3 or 4 days ??…’
‘charlie needs to cooool it down because it’s day 3.’
Love Island continues Tuesday at 9pm on ITV2 and is available to stream on ITVX.
