Fans of Love Island: All Stars have hit out that they ‘already know’ who is going to be crowned the winners of the new series – and blasted ITV for ‘fixing’ the result.
The long-awaited new series of the ITV2 dating show finally got underway on Thursday with the public pairing up the returning Islanders.
Joined by host Maya Jama, the first coupling soon got underway and the group were given the first chance to mingle and get to know each other.
This year’s cast of OGs include former winners Millie Court, 29, and Jess Harding, along with Whitney Adebayo, 28, Ciaran Davies 22, Sean Stone, 26, Shaq Muhammad, 27, Helena Ford, 29, Tommy Bradley, Jack Keating, 26, Belle Hassan, 27, Leanne Amaning, 28, and Charlie Frederick, 30.
It wasn’t long before Tommy, 22, and Jess, 25, were seen getting close, having previously exchanged ‘flirty’ messages online with each other.
There was little surprise then when presenter Maya, 31, confirmed that the public had voted for the duo to be coupled up, leaving them both overjoyed.
And viewers quickly flooded social media to react, putting in their early predictions that the series ten winner, and the series 12 hunk, would make it to the final.
‘The only couple that makes sense is Tommy and Jess,’ one fan penned, as another chimed in: ‘No one but Tommy and Jess are happy.’
A third added: ‘The only one that makes sense is Jess and Tommy,’ as a fourth penned: ‘Watch Jess and Tommy win it.’
Other fans felt that the narrative between the pair, having exchanged messages before their time in the villa, meant they were being ‘pushed’ on screen – with some even hitting out the finale was ‘fixed’.
‘No offence, but I can see how this is working already. I don’t want Jess and Tommy to win FFS,’ one angry viewer penned on X, formerly Twitter.
Another chimed in: ‘I’m not having a Millie, Charlie, Jess and Tommy final,’ as a third said: ‘They have fixed this for Super Tommy Bradley an Jess Harding to win this.’
A fourth fumed: ‘Why are ITV pushing Jess and Tommy so hard immediately? Might as well just give them the crown now and call it a day.’
Elsewhere, Charlie was paired up with Helena – despite their rocky past having gone to school together and Helena revealing the singleton ‘ruined her 16th birthday’ by insulting her looks and calling her ‘a dolphin’
Sweet shop owner Sean was partnered up with Belle Hassan, despite Belle describing him as ‘no good’ over his choice of cringe-worthy chat-up lines.
During the action, Whitney was quick to brand Jack her ‘no good’ boy, but later found out that the duo had been coupled up by the public voters.
The couples were completed by former show winner Millie being coupled with Ciaran Davies, while Shaq was paired up with Leanne.
Last night, the episode ended on a fiery note when surprise bombshell Scott, who is making his fourth Love Island appearance, entered the villa.
Scott was asked to call out which couple he felt was ‘no good’ to which he said Belle and Sean, adding that Sean ‘isn’t even an All Star’.
‘Watching you on your season you were one of the worst Islanders ever,’ Scott said in a brutal tirade, adding he was ‘up Joey Essex’s ar**’.
The attack left Sean in utter shock as he revealed he and Scott have never even spoken to each other before.
Host Maya Jama then dealt Sean another blow as she revealed he would not be staying in the villa tonight.
Love Island: All Stars returned with the steamiest launch night ever as all twelve contestants all kissed during a raunchy icebreaker.
However after a racy snog-filled game where the Islanders said who they fancied, Maya revealed it was the public who would be tasked with coupling them up.
Meanwhile, ITV have certainly turned up the heat as they launched the show with the Good or No Good game between the Islanders.
Maya told the Islanders: ‘Okay, All Stars, as you can see I have some “Good” and “No Good” sashes here.
‘So, here’s the game…one at a time girls, you need to decide which of the boys you think is good for you, explain why and place a sash around him and then give him a snog.
‘Then you have to place a “no good” sash and place it around the boy you think is no good for you and tell me why that is.
‘Boys, don’t worry you’ve got weeks to work on these girls and change their minds.’
After they completed the game, Maya dropped the bombshell that the public have been voting for who they want to couple up with who – but they would have to wait until later that night to find out.
Elsewhere in the launch, fans were quick to throw their support behind Whitney.
Whitney, finished runner-up on Love Island back in 2023 with then-boyfriend Lochan Nowacki, but following their split two years later, they became embroiled in a dramatic legal battle.
Whitney publicly accused Lochan on TikTok of using a racial slur against her, alleging that he called her skin ‘dirty’, and in April he reportedly sued her for defamation.
In December it was reported they’d quietly ended their legal battle, and now Whitney has joined a string of classic Love Island stars in South Africa.
Her return quickly went down a storm with fans, and they took to X to laud her new ‘revenge body’ in the wake of her split from Lochan.
Meanwhile fans have insisted Jack Keating has only returned for All Stars because of his famous father.
Jack, 26, is one of the former islanders returning to the reality villa in South Africa for a second chance at finding ‘love’.
The dad-of-one is the son of Boyzone star and TV presenter Ronan Keating.
Jack first appeared on the eighth series of Love Island in 2022 and lasted just five days before he was dumped from the show.
And, as the Irish hunk returned during Thursday night’s launch episode, fans immediately claimed nepotism is at play over his appearance.
Taking to social media, one penned on X: ‘Come and see nepotism, Jack didn’t contribute a single thing last time round.’
‘Who even is Jack, he was on air for 2 seconds bye,’ another fumed, as a third added: ‘We all know the real reason Jack gets women. And it’s not his Irish charm.’
‘Nepotism is crazy. Jack Keating wasn’t even the most interesting casa reject, yet he landed a spot on all stars,’ a fourth wrote.
Speaking on his decision to return to the show, Jack said: ‘I feel like I have to come back and redeem myself, my experience before was short and sweet, I was in there for four days and I didn’t couple up with anyone, so it didn’t really go to plan.
‘The revenge tour is here! I’ve been single for a year now and I’m looking for love.’
Love Island: All Stars returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
