TNT Sports presenter Laura Woods has opened up on the horrific eye injury she suffered on a romantic getaway with her fiancé Adam Collard in 2024.
Woods, 38, had been enjoying a trip with the Love Island star in May of that year when a freak accident left her needing emergency surgery.
The broadcaster said that while attempting to throw a pillow at Collard, she struck a light shade, which cracked on the roof and ‘came down’ on her head and back.
Woods was rushed to hospital and forced to pull out of covering Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk a couple of days later, before rushing some five hours to London for plastic surgery.
She hadn’t opened up on the terrifying ordeal but now, some 18 months later, the mother-of-one has shared a handful of gruesome images of her injuries.
