Kylie Minogue looked glamorous in a PVC fringed dress as she presented the IMW Lifetime Achievement Award at the V d’Or Ceremony in Paris on Tuesday.

The Princess of Pop, 57, put on a very leggy display as she posed for sizzling snaps backstage at the Wine Paris event.

The Spinning Around hitmaker showed off her amazing figure in the black Simone Rocha dress which she paired with Roger Vivier shoes as she sipped on a glass of wine.

She later slipped into a khaki Simkhai ensemble styled with Lana Wilkinson shoes as she headed out and about in the French captial and posed in front of the Arc de Triomphe.

On the eve of Wine Paris, the world’s most prestigious wine show, Kylie, who founded her own wine brand in May 2020, presented esteemed wine writer Andrew Jefford with the award.

In introducing Jefford, Kylie revealed that she had turned to him for advice when she was first considering launching her own wine range.

‘I was very nervous ahead of our first Zoom call. But he was so supportive, and kind and insightful… he gave me a lot of fortitude,’ she said.

‘Like many of you I loved his book, “Drinking with the Valkyries’” And he has written with charm and intelligence for many publications, such as Decanter’.

In a short acceptance speech, Jefford described the moment as, ‘possibly the most surreal evening of my life. My wife will never believe this’.

‘We’ll send them a selfie,’ Kylie added.

The award, presented by the Institute of Masters of Wine (IMW), in association with industry publication The Drinks Business, recognises the ‘substantial contribution of an individual to the global wine community, and recognises vision, determination and innovation’.

The V d’Or Business Awards ceremony is held just before the annual Wine Paris trade show, which is taking place in the French capital from February 9 until 11.

The aim of the awards is to recognise those in the world of wines and spirits providing new initiatives and solutions to the various challenges they face.

This includes areas such as education, climate change, new consumption patterns and loss of traditional expertise, all of which undermine the long-term futures of these categories.

Pop star Kylie is showcasing her award-winning wine collection during Wine Paris, which has sold over 25 million bottles since it was launch.

During the event, the singer looked chic in a white linen suit which she teamed with a black lace blouse as she posed next to her, Kylie Minogue stall.

She later slipped into a Chanel white and black floral satin blouse which she tucked into a pair of black trousers and towering boots.

Styling her blonde tresses loose, Kylie flashed her gorgeous smile as she held up a bottle of her rose.

The Padam Padam songstress first released a southern French rosé made from a blend of 80 per cent Carignan and 20 per cent Cabernet Sauvignon from the southern French coast.

The salmon pink Vin de France rosé was kept on its lees for three months in stainless steel for added complexity.

In an exclusive interview with The Drinks Business, Kylie revealed that drinking Provence rosé during sweltering nights in Nashville while recording her 14th album, Golden, is what inspired her to want to make her own.

She told the publication: ‘It was exceptionally hot and humid that summer, and it was an exciting time, being in Nashville and writing songs with no distractions.’

‘While dining outdoors one night, my manager Polly and I were drinking Whispering Angel to cool down from the heat, which got me thinking how great it would be to have my own rosé.

‘I love pale pink rosés and all the associations of the Mediterranean that go with them.’

Keen to be involved in all stages of the production process, Kylie chose the wine’s long-necked, bell-shaped bottle finished with a pearlescent capsule.

She also designed the label featuring her name repeated in relief and her signature in black in the centre.

The chart-topper later launched a lees-aged Sauvignon Blanc from Gascony and a Pays d’Oc Merlot.

Previously a drinks industry source revealed that her prosecco had become hugely successful, saying: ‘The prosecco has been a massive seller for Kylie.

‘It is a good quality product – just as you’d expect from someone like Kylie – and it is very drinkable.’

‘She wouldn’t have put her name to an inferior product and she’s reaping the rewards of a successful brand.’
