On her visit to RAF Coningsby, Kate oozed sophistication in a tailored Bella Freud two-piece, teamed with an Alexander McQueen jumper and her go-to Gianvito Rossi court shoes. 

The look combined the Earl single-breasted jacket with the matching straight-leg trousers. Cut in a classic Prince of Wales check, it offered a subtle nod to her husband, William. 

Kate has long been a fan of tailored trouser suits, owning a collection in a variety of colours and cuts. But this understated design is quickly proving to be one of her favourites.
