Justin Timberlake caught in intense exchange at English music festival

Justin Timberlake didn’t appear to be in sync with his crew during a recent show, as he  was caught on camera in an intense exchange during an English music festival earlier this month.

The 10-time Grammy winner, 44, was said to be ‘fuming’ amid technical issues in a TikTok clip posted July 5.

Timberlake could be seen passionately chatting onstage with crew members at England’s Lytham Festival after sound issues impacted his performance of the hit song Cry Me a River.

Timberlake breached industry protocols with the conduct seen in the TikTok clip, said one commenter.

‘Losing it with your support crew is considered highly unprofessional in the world of stage performance,’ a user said.

Another commenter argued Timberlake was ‘justified’ in being irritated with the crew, who had hours to prepare for the event.

Others said he was overreacting to a minor technical snafu, with one user saying Timberlake appeared to be ‘mad about anything and everything’ during his outing at the festival.

The most popular comment alluded to Timberlake’s remark upon getting arrested for drunken driving in June of 2024 – as he said, ‘This is going to ruin the tour.’

Fan feedback to the clip on the TikTok post was mixed, as some people said the Memphis, Tennessee native relatively kept his cool.

‘He hardly looks like he’s losing it,’ one user said. ‘Just annoyed. I would be too.’

Another user defended Timberlake’s passion in wanting to put on the best possible show for his fans.

‘I don’t blame him for being a bit peeved he’s trying to entertain his fans that paid money to see him,’ said the user said.

One user credited Timberlake’s attention to detail, saying that he ‘probably saved everyone getting an earache.’

Another said that the pop veteran was ‘an absolute star’ as he took the stage at the summer music festival, calling him ‘brilliant’ and ‘so professional.’
