Justin Theroux is gearing up for fatherhood.
The actor, 54, and his wife Nicole Brydon Bloom, 31, are expecting their first baby together, People has confirmed.
The exciting news comes months after the couple quietly exchanged vows in March during a private ceremony surrounded by close friends and family.
The couple has not yet publicly commented on the pregnancy, but an insider confirmed the joyful update, marking the first time Theroux will step into the role of dad.
No further details have been shared regarding the baby’s due date or whether the pair are expecting a boy or girl.
The Daily Mail has reached out to Theroux and Bloom’s respective representatives for comment, but have not heard back, yet.
Earlier this week, the couple attended the premiere of Amazon Prime Video’s Fallout season two at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.
The appearance marked the first sighting of Bloom’s growing baby bump.
The actress looked radiant in a figure-hugging, chocolate-brown sequined gown, which sparkled under the lights and accentuated her blossoming belly.
She wore her long brunette hair in loose waves and flashed a glowing smile throughout the evening.
Beside her, Theroux, who was dressed in a sleek velvet suit with a crisp white shirt, kept close, with the pair posing arm-in-arm on the carpet.
The baby news comes after the pair exchanged vows in March during an intimate beach ceremony in Tulum, Mexico.
The guest list was extremely small, in keeping with their preference to stay out of the spotlight.
Theroux’s marriage marks his first since his 2015–2017 nuptials to Jennifer Aniston.
The couple were first romantically linked in February 2023 and quickly became inseparable.
Theroux revealed on The Drew Barrymore Show last year that he felt an instant spark when he first saw Bloom.
‘A friend of ours was having sort-of a party at their restaurant, bar,’ he recalled, adding that before they’d even spoken, a buddy nudged him and said, ‘That’s the one.’
‘I was like, “She’s so stunning.” So I went over and started talking… and it progressed,’ he recalled.
Bloom is a New York-based actress who graduated from Elon University in 2017 before beginning her career in regional theater.
She landed a breakout TV role as Caroline Stuyvesant in The Gilded Age, which was a dream come true for the actress, who was already a fan of creator Julian Fellowes’ earlier hit Downton Abbey.
‘I emailed my agent, and I was like I have to be in this,’ she told her college paper, at the time.
Despite his decades-long career in the spotlight, Theroux has made it clear that he prefers romance behind closed doors.
He told Esquire last year that it’s ‘much more fun not being in a public relationship’.
‘I want all of my relationships to exist within the four walls of whatever room we’re in,’ he explained.
Despite their divorce eight years ago, Theroux and Aniston, who is dating Jim Curtis, have remained close friends.
Last year, he admitted he still feels ‘protective’ over her.
He confirmed to The Times that Aniston is still ‘very dear’ to him as he applauded her for firing back at JD Vance’s controversial remarks about ‘childless cat ladies’.
‘She is still very dear to me so, of course, yeah, I feel protective. But she batted back criticism, as well she should,’ Theroux said.
He and Aniston separated in 2017 after secretly tying the knot two years prior at a star-studded wedding held at her $21million Bel-Air mansion.
The ceremony was officiated by late-night host and SNL alum Jimmy Fallon and attended by the likes of Ellen DeGeneres and Aniston’s Friends co-stars.
The couple waited until February 2018 to publicly reveal their divorce.
In a joint statement, they insisted there was no ill will between them and that they planned to remain friends.
‘In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation. This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year,’ they revealed.
‘We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.’
The exes first met in 2007 but didn’t begin dating until 2011 after bonding on set of their rom-com Wanderlust (2012).
After confirming their split in 2018, a source claimed to Page Six that Aniston and Theroux disagreed on where to settle down.
She was reportedly ‘more comfortable’ in LA while he wanted to make the move to New York.
‘Justin doesn’t feel as at home in LA, nor with Jennifer’s friends, he loves New York, and the edgier crowd in the city,’ an insider told the outlet.
It was also alleged that ‘problems’ began brewing between them due to their conflicting – and often times hectic – work schedules.
