Jeremy Clarkson has revealed filming for his hit Amazon Prime show, Clarkson’s Farm could begin this week after a sudden turn of events.

The presenter, 65, is in the midst of a three month break from screens – the first time he has done so in 40 years.

But Jeremy has now revealed the snow sweeping the country has meant it is likely the cameras will be dusted off and picked back up to begin filming series six.

Storm Goretti will dump up to eight inches of snow in the UK and an ice warning is set to cover the whole of Britain on Wednesday.

The Met Office confirmed the storm will bring widespread snow, heavy rain and severe gales to England and Wales this week.

Up to eight inches of snow are set to blanket the Home Counties on Thursday and Friday, with stormy weather ready to hit the south-west of Britain the worst.

Jeremy, whose farm is located in the Cotswolds near Chipping Norton, told The Sun: We’ve never had a rest, we wrap a series and immediately start again because farming doesn’t stop. You harvest and you’re immediately start drilling for the next year.

‘So, but this time Kaleb’s gone off to Australia, he’s filming down there at the moment, I was doing Millionaire Hot Seat and I really wanted to have a holiday because I haven’t had one in ages.

‘So we just said “ok well let’s just actually wrap it”…and then, I just said: “If it snows we’ll start filming again”. We’ll definitely do six – Amazon want to (do series six) and I want to. I’ve got a good idea for six.’

Jeremy went on to say he will stop doing Clarkson’s Farm when he has run out of ideas – with even a seventh series possible as he has two ‘quite good’ ideas for what to focus on in each series.

The Clarkson’s Farm star, who has been a household name since joining the panel of  Top Gear in 1988, has been busy in recent years with a host of new shows.

Alongside Clarkson’s Farm, which follows his day-to-day on his Oxfordshire farm, he also hosts Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, and joined his former Top Gear co-stars in The Grand Tour, which came to an end up 2024.

Jeremy said he was having his his ‘first break from TV in forty years’, as he takes a break from filming for all of the series that are still running.

His new format, Millionaire Hot Seat, a spin-off of the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? format that will hit screens on ITV in early 2026.

Earlier this year, Jeremy revealed he was taking a break from filming popular Prime Video series Clarkson's Farm, after it was renewed for a fifth season (pictured with Kaleb Cooper)
Jeremy recently filmed for the new format, Millionaire Hot Seat, a spin-off of the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire - and it will hit screens on ITV in early 2026

Speaking at the launch of his new show, Jeremy said: ‘You would rot if you didn’t. I’m genuinely frightened because until March, I won’t be filming a TV show for the first time in forty years. That will be three months of s**t.’

Earlier this year, Jeremy revealed he was taking a break from filming popular Prime Video series Clarkson’s Farm, after it was renewed for a fifth season.

The programme, which was launched in 2021, follows Jeremy, his wife Lisa Hogan and farming staff as they battle against the elements on Diddly Squat Farm.

Jeremy has pressed pause on the cameras being around the farm as he began the pig breeding season earlier this year.

The fourth series, which won a National Television Award for Best Factual Entertainment earlier this year, broke viewing records thanks to its popularity.

Jeremy went on to confirm that filming had finished for its upcoming instalment, with co-star Kaleb, 27, back on screen after taking a series off to go on tour.
