Jennifer Lopez continued to flaunt her latest look as she enjoyed a lowkey shopping trip with one of her twins Emme in Beverly Hills over the weekend.
The On The Floor hitmaker, 55 – who was recently seen hitting the dance studio – paid a visit to Saks Fifth Avenue just one day after the Fourth of July holiday.
It comes shortly after she debuted six new songs at an exclusive listening party for 30 lucky fans earlier this week – with one track seemingly referencing to her divorce from Ben Affleck.
Lopez showed off her sculpted midriff wearing a long-sleeved, white cropped shirt as well as a pair of green trousers.
The actress additionally slipped into a pair stylish pumps while adding a gray cap on top of her long, straight locks.
Jennifer completed her outfit for the daytime excursion by holding a dark brown clutch bag in her hand.
The singer flashed a cheerful smile as she stepped out of a sleek SUV upon arriving to the shop, with Emme strolling close by.
Lopez shares twins Max and Emme, 17, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, whom she was married to from 2004 until their divorce in 2014.
Two days earlier on Thursday, the beauty first debuted her new look while grabbing a bite to eat during a night out in L.A.
She embraced a retro 70s-inspired makeover which comprised of long straight hair as well as an off-the-shoulder, silver satin dress.
Jennifer added a gray fedora on top of her head and was joined by a mystery male companion for the lighthearted outing.
Also this week, the star held an exclusive listening party for 30 fans in L.A. where she debuted six new songs, with one hinting at her Ben Affleck split.
The former couple tied the knot in 2022 after rekindling their romance but last year in August, Lopez notably filed for divorce on their second wedding anniversary.
A guest by the name of Edgardo Luis Rivera had been in attendance at the intimate event and opened up what her latest tracks, per Us Weekly.
One of the songs was titled Wreckage Of You and Rivera said that Lopez ‘kept thinking of the word “wreck” because it means destruction, but she wasn’t destroyed. In fact, the lyrics of the song are: “I’m stronger after the wreckage of you.”‘
He added, ‘Wreckage of You is a pop ballad that she told us she cowrote and recorded two weeks ago.
‘She said she was lying in bed after a long day of tour rehearsals when the idea of the song came to her.’
Edgardo further expressed, ‘She mentioned how last year was a very difficult time for her both personally and professionally. She had to cancel her tour and really focus on herself.’
One year earlier, Jennifer cancelled her This Is Me… Live tour – which had been set to kick off shortly before her 55th birthday.
A statement obtained by DailyMail.com at the time read: ‘Representatives for Live Nation announced today that the Jennifer Lopez US Summer 2024 Tour THIS IS ME…LIVE is canceled.
‘Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends,’ it was added.
Lopez herself also said she was ‘heartsick and devastated’ over the cancellation but added it was ‘absolutely necessary.’
An insider also told DailyMail.com, ‘She’s taking time off to be with family and close friends. This was a very difficult decision made by Jennifer this week and she’s sorry to her fans.’
Another fan who had attended the listening party offered their thoughts on Wreckage Of Me.
They said it is a ‘very emotional, empowering song about walking away from a relationship and coming out a stronger person.’
Lopez also played an additional five songs which were titled: Birthday, Free, Up All Night, Save Me Tonight and Regular.
Edgardo explained that the four tracks were a bit more upbeat and ‘fun, more Jennifer of old in terms of music style.’ At one point when Birthday had been playing, the fans went ‘nuts.’
Jennifer has been keeping busy as she prepares for her international summer tour Up All Night – which is set to begin on July 8 in Spain.
However, the upcoming concerts have already suffered multiple setbacks as date changes caused fury among fans.
The star additionally announced in May that she is set to return to Las Vegas for an upcoming residency also called Up All Night Live.
She will take to the stage at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on select dates beginning from December 30 through March of next year.
While recently talking to People, the beauty opened up about her excitement for a ‘free and happy’ summer – after her divorce from Affleck was settled in January.
‘I’m excited to tour. I’m excited first to go do Pride. I’m super excited about that. I’m working on that show right now too as we speak, and crafting the tour as well. I’m excited to get back out there.’
The performer added, ‘It seems like a perfect summer to celebrate being free and being happy.
‘Just everything in my life right now just feels really healthy and good, and I’m ready to get out there and make people sing and dance and have a good time. That’s always my goal.’
Over the Fourth of July holiday, Lopez had the chance to indulge in sugary cupcakes and showed off the decorated desserts on Instagram.
Also this week, her ex Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was acquitted of the most serious charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking during his New York trial.
But the jury still found the rapper guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. The judge overseeing the case has ordered that he be kept behind bars until his sentencing hearing later this year in October.
