I’m A Celebrity’s Kelly Brook faces a skydive in terrifying first look

The much-anticipated new series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! kicks off on Sunday, with 10 celebrities set to face a string of gruelling challenges.

And even before they enter the camp, it seems some will tackle a more unconventional route Down Under, as they’re set to skydive from a helicopter to make it to the jungle on a parachute.

In a dramatic first look clip ahead of the launch episode, stars Kelly Brook, Aitch, Martin Kemp, Eddie Kadi and Shona McGarty are told by hosts Ant and Dec there’s only ‘one way’ they can make it the ground.

While Kelly is visibly taken-aback by the revelation, she and the other stars are quickly thrown into the challenge, with Aitch and Eddie dropping out of the chopper to face a long fall to the ground.

Meanwhile back on the ground, Ruby Wax, Jack Osbourne, Lisa Riley, AngryGinge and Alex Scott head to a swanky villa, where Ant and Dec revealed that already they’ll be facing their first trial.

AngryGinge, who has already been tipped as a favourite to win thanks to his huge social media following, can be seen shaking in terror as a box is placed over his head.

Meanwhile AngryGinge was left shaking after being greeted with a snake during his challenge, as celebrities go head-to-head to win a more luxurious entrance into the camp

The TikTok star pleads to Ant and Dec to know what creature is joining him, before a snake is put on top of his head.

As each celebrity touches down on the shoreline after their skydive, things are far from over.

Ant and Dec appear with yet another curveball, unveiling a challenge that will ultimately decide how the group makes their way into camp.

Up for grabs are the best beds in camp and a steak supper – along with a far more glamorous journey into the jungle, complete with cocktails and canapés.

To fight for the prize, the stars take their places at each point of a giant star-shaped rig, and here, they must race to free the Getaway car key fob tied to a length of rope.

Once positioned, they’re forced to plunge into a foul mix of offal and slime in search of five tools.

Each needed to release a separate bolt on the wall and only after removing all five can they claim the fob.

As the clock ticks down, the stakes rise. Two celebrities will win a stylish entrance to camp while the remaining three will face the infamous ‘Cockie Van,’ with none other than Kiosk Kev.

The five stars back at the villa are in a similar race-against-time to win the two remaining seats in the coveted Getaway car.

As the challenge kicks off and tensions soar, rangers drop snakes into the head boxes, forcing the group to hold their nerve if they want to secure their place in the Getaway car.

With it all to play for, who will successfully retrieve the Getaway car key fob and take the two remaining spots in the Getaway car, and who will be left to face the dreaded Cockie Van?

Meanwhile, the I’m A Celeb jungle was rocked by a huge thunderstorm, and contestants had to endure a wet first night in camp on Saturday.

The likes of social media star AngryGinge, rapper Aitch, 25, model and actress Kelly Brook, 45, Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp, 63, and Ruby are all spending their first night in the jungle.

Lightning and lightning storms for hours battered the camp, which does not do well in wet weather, as there is a stream running through, which can often overflow.

It comes after ITV producers have been desperately hoping for a dry year, as weather can often affect the morale of the campmates who crowd into the Bush Telegraph, sometimes for hours on end, to shelter from the Australian storms.

Brittney Spears’ sister, Jamie Lynn, famously walked out of the show when the relentless rain became too much for her back in 2023.

She was followed shortly by food critic Grace Dent, who also flew home due to low morale.

No contestants walked last year, but the camp was plagued by the worst rain in the ITV show’s 22-year history.

A camp insider told the Daily Mail: ‘The jungle camp cannot cope with this level of rain, and the thing is, when it rains like this, it’s not fun for anyone involved. In fact, it’s miserable. It dampens the mood and ultimately ruins the show.’

Love Island star Maura Higgins last year complained: ‘I’ve slept in the rain, my bed is just soaking.’

Strictly Come Dancing’s Oti Mabuse added: ‘It has been raining again in camp and it’s affecting everyone’s mood.’

While the weather forecast this year promises more sunshine, it’s not looking good for the new tranche of celebrities so far.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! airs Sunday, November 16 at 9pm on ITV1, STV, and ITVX
