I’m A Celebrity stars celebrate AngryGinge’s win at wrap afterparty

After three weeks surviving on rice and beans and each other’s stories for entertainment, the 2025 I’m A Celebrity cast were ready to let their hair down at the show’s afterparty on Monday night.

The stars gathered at the JW Marriott hotel in Surfers Paradise to celebrate AngryGinge’s win and the huge viewing figures they managed to pull in.

The social media star, 24, was crowned King Of The Jungle in Sunday’s finale after a staggering 13million votes were cast – the highest in a decade.

Still wearing his floral crown, AngryGinge, real name Morgan Burtwistle, reunited with Aitch, 26, Jack Osbourne, 40, and comedian Eddie Kadi, 42, for a snap.

After roughing it in the jungle, the celebs looked much more comfortable to be back in the resort of a five star hotel.

The cast took to social media to document the party, as they quaffed champagne, sang on the karaoke and FaceTimed Kelly Osbourne.

Tom Read Wilson was the life and soul of the party as he FaceTimed Jack’s sister Kelly.

Vogue Williams also shared a video of the Celebs Go Dating star putting on a fake Northern accent, which left them in hysterics.

Alex Scott missed out on the party after flying home early. The sports presenter, 41, who flew home to be with girlfriend Jess Glynne as she copes with her mother’s brain surgery, said she was ‘gutted’ to not be with the I’m A Celebrity cast as she FaceTimed from the UK.

The rapper, meanwhile, reunited with Shona McGarty, 34, who placed third on Sunday’s final.

The EastEnders actress firmly dismissed romance rumours as she admitted she thought of him ‘like a little brother’ appearing live on Lorraine.

Fans were convinced there was a spark between the campmates who were both recently single – Shona having ended a nine-year relationship with her fiance David Bracken and Aitch breaking it off with his girlfriend, Lois Cottam, before the show.

But Shona clarified: ‘I mean, I’m like ten years older than him, and honestly, the rumours are rubbish, he was like my younger brother, I was like his older sister.

‘We just had the same energy level, we were just hyper and silly and that’s why we got on so well.’

After giggling along in the studio alongside the show’s correspondent Lucie Cave, Lorraine responded: ‘I get that about the little brother, and I think that’s a lovely thing to have.’

It comes after Aitch finally cleared up what was happening between him and Shona during their three-week stint in the I’m A Celebrity camp.

When asked by the Daily Mail if there was anything romantic between them, he denied it and said: ‘Romantic, no, not at all, she’s a good friend of mine.

‘I just think we had a bond over the music thing, 95 per cent of the conversations we had in the Jungle was literally just about how sick she is at singing.

‘I knew that she was trying to come out of the Jungle and pursue a music career.

‘I think this is just because of my age, she had the same conversations with Martin, but no one’s going to say she had a romance with him because Martin is married.’

ITV bosses are said to be ‘thrilled’ with his appearance after he attracted 12 million in consolidated viewers over the first three episodes of the show – a record breaking number for the broadcaster.

Typically the winner of the show is a household name and AngryGinge is the first social media star to be crowned King of the Jungle.

After his win, the social media star – who was rumoured to have been paid £100,000 for his jungle stint – said of his experience: ‘I was a massive fan of the show but it was a lot harder than I thought. I reached out to people who had been on it before for tips and clues but no one told me how hard it was going to be.’
