I’m A Celebrity’s Vogue Williams has revealed the truth behind her age-defying looks after complaining about feeling ‘so ugly’ in the jungle – and immediately being grilled by Ruby Wax during Friday night’s show.

Earlier this week the Irish presenter, 40, and Tom Read Wilson, 39, joined the rest of the famous faces in Australia as part of the star-studded cast.

During the latest instalment of I’m A Celebrity, Vogue and Ruby opened up about what work they have had done to alter their looks.

After her first full day of enduring the heat, bad sleeping conditions and a smelly dunny, Vogue confessed that she felt ‘so ugly’ because everyone in camp is ‘so good looking’.

But Ruby went on to tell her: ‘You’re the prettiest person I’ve ever seen in my life’.

Vogue then confessed that she had permanent liner tattooed onto her lips, which then influenced Ruby to ask her if she had anything else done to her face.

‘Loads of Botox!’ Vogue told Ruby.

Ruby told her: ‘Oh really? I’ve got a lot of that too!’

Later on while in the Bush Telegraph, Ruby said: ‘I’ve had things removed and things lifted, and I said to Jennifer Saunders once, “do you know what’s great? Is that you can’t notice it”…

‘And she said “Are you kidding? Of course you can!”‘

While Kelly Brook, Aitch and Angry Ginge took on Bush Summer Camp earlier this week, Vogue and Tom entered the jungle.

Equipped with badge-sewn shirts and flags, it was Tom and Vogue’s decision to choose which of the three celebs took on each challenge.

Later in the episode it was Tom and Vogue’s task to designate the camp roles.

After much deliberation they settled on Kelly and Martin Kemp as camp chefs, Ruby and Lisa Riley on washing up, Eddie Kadi and Ginge on water and Aitch and Alex Scott on wood.

Tom and Vogue also chose four badge winners, Kelly, Lisa and Ginge and Jack Osbourne, who were treated to a marshmallow and hot chocolate-filled campfire at Snake Rock.

Before heading into the jungle, Vogue confessed what she was most worried about – and it sounds like it wasn’t the creepy crawlies.

The star works out five times a wee with a personal trainer.

Speaking on her Vogue & Amber podcast with her sister, the star said: ‘I’m just considering the free time I’m going to have in there […] I’m going to be having little gym classes I’ve decided.

‘I can’t lose this ass that’s taken so long to build, it’s barely there anyway, I’m just going to keep squatting my way around the jungle.

‘I’m so excited!’

It has also been revealed that her longevty on I’m A Celebrity could be under threat as most of her fans live in the Republic of Ireland  – and won’t be able to vote.

Vogue was born in the Portmarnock, a suburb in Dublin, and the vast majority of her fans are Irish.

Speaking on her podcast, Vogue and Amber, recorded before it was announced she would be going on the reality show, she said: ‘Well, I’m in the Jungle.

‘Anyone listening to this, please vote.

‘And Irish people you’re not allowed to vote so if you have any English friends, cousins or colleagues tell them to vote.

‘Support the Irish, go on girls.’
