They’re the two Gen Z influencers who are hot favourites to become the next King of the Jungle.
But whether Aitch or Angry Ginge – or another campmate – take the crown, it is ITV who is the real winner.
For bosses say the popular pair have helped the network pull off the impossible by luring teenagers back to mainstream television.
One source said it was ‘priceless TV’, adding: ‘We’re now seeing young viewers who haven’t watched live TV in years suddenly tuning in, posting watch-along reactions, arguing in comment sections and backing their favourites with the same fervour as online fandoms.
‘TV has realised it doesn’t need to fight the digital world – it can recruit it, integrate it and ride the wave.’
Since the launch episode of I’m A Celeb 2025, the programme has seen the number of viewers aged 16-34 reaching a consolidated 2.5million – ITV’s biggest since the 2022 World Cup.
But the success brought about by Aitch and Angry Ginge is not just down to their star-grabbing in the Celebrity Cyclone.
Their teams have strived behind the scenes to not only ensure their man wins, but also present the pair, who were friends before the show, as their own people.
One source close to social media star Angry Ginge, 24, real name Morgan Burtwistle, and rapper and online personality Aitch, 25, real name Harrison Armstrong, explained: ‘Aitch versus Angry Ginge is a tricky one because they are practically the same person.
‘They’re both from Manchester, have the same friends, the same vibe, and they share a lot of the same followers on social media – it’s going to be tough to call.’
For Aitch – who has odds of 9/4 to win I’m A Celebrity – one of the major reasons behind joining the show was to raise awareness for Down Syndrome, which his younger sister, Gracie, has.
In an emotional twist, the 16-year-old was flown out last minute with her parents and twin sister, Hattie, to be reunited with her brother on Friday’s programme.
Gracie charmed the nation and thousands of youngsters took to social media to say they were ‘sobbing’ after watching her, followed by pleas to ‘Vote Aitch’.
One source close to his team said: ‘If the public see Gracie in the jungle, then he has won the show, it’s as simple as that.’
Meanwhile, the team behind 6/5 favourite Angry Ginge has enlisted fellow online stars to back him. The country’s most popular content creator, KSI, urged his 75million fans on social media: ‘Angry Ginge… let’s get this man to number one.’
