I’m A Celebrity’s Ruby Wax caught stealing food from rival campmates

I’m A Celebrity’s Ruby Wax was caught stealing food from her rival campmates during Tuesday night’s episode.

Fans branded the TV star, 72, ‘selfish’ as she secretly robbed a bag of liquorice allsorts to tuck into herself.

Ruby scurried off and said: ‘Sorry it’s each man for themselves now, this is so heavenly’.

‘I’m sorry just the inner animal took over, I got a mouth to feed, which is mine’, she added.

After the theft was uncovered, some celebs in camp including AngryGinge laughed off Ruby’s secret.

He claimed she simply gets away with the behaviour because she’s so-called ‘Ruby Wax’.

AngryGinge joked: ‘The beautifully ruby wax has walked off with a full bag of liquorice sweets’. 

But Alex Scott MBE was left unimpressed after Ruby went behind their backs and walked off with a full bag of sweets to herself. 

Furious fans on X wrote: ‘Ruby taking the whole bag isn’t acceptable just because she’s older she’s not stupid.. if this was one of the younger lot they’d get in trouble’,

Ruby is one of the famous faces taking part in the ITV jungle show this year, with bosses hoping Ruby will speak her mind in camp.

While Ruby shot to fame when she appeared as Shelley DuPont on Girls On Top in 1985, she later turned her attention to documentaries.

She had a successful career, interviewing some of the most prominent names at the time, from OJ Simpson to Donald Trump. 

However, she claimed Louis Theroux had stolen the idea of her investigations from her, following his worldwide success as her career started to slow down.

During a previous appearance on Adam Buxton’s podcast, she admitted she still had anger towards Louis, 55.

Ruby said: ‘I knew you were going to say that. Can we not discuss it? Everything we did, he took. I’ve moved on. I have a new career but if you say that word to me, I’ll vomit.’

She added: ‘I’ve evolved but there’s still a little bit of anger.’
