I’m A Celeb fans brand final line up ‘worst in show’s history’

I’m A Celeb All Star’s final line-up has been branded ‘the worst in the show’s history’ as the most explosive season yet looks to be ending with a whimper on Friday.

The latest series has seen a whole host from drama for the returning campmates from ‘bullying’ rows to feuds, accusations of misogyny and early exits.

But fans have been left less than impressed by the ‘boring’ all male finalists as Adam Thomas, Craig Charles, Mo Farrah or Harry Redknapp battle it out to be crowned champion during a live two part show hosted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

Scarlett Moffatt became the final female campmate to be eliminated ahead of the finale, leading to fans calling for the return of the public vote, which does not take place during the pre-recorded All Stars series.

Upon he exit the former Gogglebox star chose not to hug any of the remaining campmates after coming last in the latest bush tucker trial.

Scarlett broke down in tears as Ant and Declan revealed she was furthest from the correct total which meant she had to leave immediately.

Taking to X fans fumed: ‘Great series ruined by a s*** final 4’: ‘Never been such a boring final 4’: ‘Worst final in history’: Comfortably the worst ever series of #ImACeleb’: ‘This is the worst final 4 of all time. Just give it to Adam tonight, I can’t be bothered with a whole 2 hour live show in London for THIS’.

‘What a boring final 4. ADAM TO WIN’: ‘If Harry wins then this is all rigged because he’s been boring as s***e in there’: ‘We’ve been robbed of the final four shouldn’t been Ashley Scarlett, Gemma and Adam but instead it’s four men’.

Scarlett said she wanted Mo to be crowned Legend in the live final:  ‘Even if I’d got into the final, I’d have said to people, “If you were thinking of voting for me, you should vote for Mo.”

‘Nobody deserves it as much as him. I really do hope he wins.’

During the series become one of this year’s most controversial contestants after being  accused of ‘bullying’ Adam, as well as leaving his campmates open-mouthed over his misogynistic remarks and ‘disgusting’ comments.

Since his exit, David has been blasted by fans, his co-stars, as well as hosts Ant and Dec for ‘crossing the line’ during his stint.

‘It’s not a nice watch. He just kind of picks and picks at them’, Ant told the ITV1 show’s podcast I’m A Celebrity… Unpacked of David’s behaviour.

‘Adam has had a bit of a tough time and he’s not coping well. Clearly the banter has got too much. But David won’t stop.’

Dec agreed: ‘It’s kind of crossed the line from banter. I don’t find it comfortable to watch.’

Adam spoke out about his experience with David this week and said he felt singled out by the boxer, explaining how he ‘broke and pushed him to his limits’.

The actor, 37, whose arthritis left him struggling ‘physically, mentally and emotionally’, was branded ‘useless’ by David on the show.

Gemma Collins, Ashley Roberts and Scarlett Moffatt on many occasions jumped to his defence in the camp and have since called out David’s ‘uncomfortable manner’.

TOWIE icon Gemma was also targeted by David’s cruel remarks in camp, with many fans pointing out he ‘fat-shamed’ her multiple times.

David sparked further uproar when he bragged that his girlfriend Sian Osborne is a ‘lovely girl’ with the personality of ‘a proper ugly bird’.

Explaining his ‘ugly duckling theory’, the boxer claimed that less attractive girls have to work on being ‘nicer’ and being ‘more personable’ in order to get noticed, while ‘most super pretty girls are just idiots’.

While many viewers shared their horror at the sexist comments, it was allegedly David’s inability to use artificial intelligence (AI) that caused him to make sexist remarks.

David is said to use AI before making speeches and social media posts to ‘check if his comments are safe’.

Adam revealed last week that boxer David ‘broke me and pushed me to my limits’ while filming the series.

The actor opened up about his ‘tough’ experience in the jungle in a candid Instagram post after the pair clashed several times.

In a new post on Instagram Adam reflected on his experience and penned: ‘Since coming out, I’ve taken time to process everything, and I’m in a much better place now. I let go of the anger, had the conversations I needed to have, and chose peace.

Adam spoke out about his experience with David this week and said he felt singled out by the boxer, explaining how he ‘broke and pushed him to his limits’

‘What I’m most proud of, is at times like this I wanted to walk, I wanted to quit but I didn’t. Even when I wanted to walk away, even when it felt like too much, I never give up! and that means everything to me.

‘He broke me in there, he pushed me to my limits, and I’ve told David this and he’s apologised and that’s that! I’ve moved on now, am not one to hold a grudge.

‘But thank you for all your lovely messages and all the kind words ❤️.

‘We all face people and situations that try to break us, but sometimes those moments are what rebuild you stronger than ever. Be kind.’

Elsewhere during the show, David has been accused of ‘fat-shaming’ Gemma.

The duo have struggled to get on from the get-go, with Gemma mocking David’s unconventional ‘throuple’ relationship and David refusing to give the TOWIE star a drink of water.

Announcing a trial, David read a piece of paper in the camp that said: ‘Please choose two campmates to take on the Retching Bull.’

Gemma went on volunteer David and former Olympian Mo Farah, 43, to take on the trial. David replied: ‘You chucked us right in there, in the deep end.’

Visibly annoyed, Gemma said to David: ‘No you said today that you wanted to do something.’

While David agreed to complete the trial, Mo Farah said that he wasn’t feeling up to it and Coronation Street star Craig Charles, 61, tentatively agreed to go in his place.

Gemma told the camp: ‘We all need to eat tonight.’

David then controversially interjected: ‘You need to eat tonight.’

Gemma joked: ‘You know what I’m like without food.’

David went on to question: ‘Where were you last night and where was I last night? What did I eat last night?’

This was, of course, a reference to the slap-up banquet that team Rhino got to enjoy after winning the meal and a safari by successfully completing various challenges.

Meanwhile Jimmy Bullard is said to be ‘seeking revenge’ on his rival Adam when they reunite at the live final.

The pair locked horns during a Bushtucker Trial in South Africa during the filming of the show last year, which is being aired at the moment, when Jimmy refused to do a trial and put Adam’s position at risk since they were partnered up.

Despite fears Jimmy was planning on pulling out of the final, hosts Ant and Dec confirmed on Thursday that he would be in attendance.

Now it’s been claimed that Jimmy is going to use his time on the show to give his version of events.

A source said: ‘He is also not afraid to say exactly what he thinks – and that means he won’t be toeing ITV’s line.

‘Jimmy knows the truth about what happened. He’s ready to tell his story.’

The insider concluded to The Sun: ‘It’s the ultimate sweet revenge.’

Daily Mail has contacted Jimmy’s representatives for comment.

Jimmy’s alleged plans follows reports earlier in the week that Jimmy faced losing 20 per cent of his show fee if he refused to appear in the final after his tense departure from the show.

The footballer left the show under a cloud, having said ‘I’m a celebrity, get me out of here’ during a team trial.

Adam, 37, who was also competing with his campmate, was left furious and shouted: ‘Jimmy, are you f***ing taking the p***? I am in there getting covered in f***ing ants.’

Jimmy replied: ‘Woah, calm down. That’s pathetic.’

It is understood the pair are still not on speaking terms.
