Sarah Hadland has opened up about her boozy experience on Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh.
The actress, 54, has appeared on the ITV show, which hit our screens in 2020 and has had eight series, twice in the past six years.
Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh is a Sunday morning programme which sees gardener Alan, 76, share gardening tips and tricks and celebrate everything to do with the British countryside.
The show, which is filmed at Manor Farm in Holybourne, Hampshire, also sees him interview celebrities.
Sarah first appeared on the programme on series two, episode eight, alongside Harry Redknapp and Frank Gardner.
She returned for the third installment of series six with Nicki Chapman and Lea Salonga.
Chatting on the most recent episode of the Pottering with Tom Allen podcast, Sarah confessed: ‘I quite like Alan Titchmarsh.’
Tom asked: ‘Alan Titchmarsh is lovely. Have you been on his show?’
‘Yes, twice!’ Sarah confessed.
Tom: ‘I’m sorry we’ve not been on that together. It’s lovely, you go to this barn, near Guildford, and get pissed!’
Sarah confessed: ‘I drank a lot of rum the first time.’
‘Yeah, they get you really smashed,’ Tom replied.
Sarah continued: ‘He’s lovely. Very personable.’
Tom added: ‘And the people who own the barn, very nice, very nice.’
Sarah recalled: ‘Oh they are so nice.
‘I was getting ready in their daughter’s bedroom.’
And funnily enough Tom had gone through the same thing.
Tom replied: ‘Yeah I had to do that!
‘I think that she’s moved out a long time ago.’
Sarah joked: ‘I was there like her eyeliner is magnificent!’
‘Why are you dressed in that prom dress?!’ Tom joked.
Sarah concluded: ‘I mean, it’s just the whole feel of it very…’
‘Chilled out’ Tom replied.
Alan’s show isn’t the only programme that Sarah has appeared on over the years.
The star is arguably best known for playing Stevie Sutton in BBC’s Miranda.
But she’s also taken on various other roles, and taking part in other shows.
Sarah appeared in Death in Paradise, Midsomer Murders, Bob the Builder, Waterloo Road, The Jury, Casualty, The Bill and Doctors.
She’s also taken part in Strictly and placed second with partner Vito Coppola, behind Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell.
