The house that OnlyFans built: Inside sprawling £2.4m six-bed mansion

With its striking and opulent six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, home cinema, gym and sauna, marble bar area and games room it is the epitome of so-called ‘property porn’.

And the phrase is particularly apposite here – because this is the mansion that OnlyFans built.

This sprawling 6,325 square foot villa was bought for £2,425,000 by Tim Stokely, businessman and creator of the notorious adults-only website.

Set behind security gates on a private cul-de-sac in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, the property also has expensive ground, including a manicured half-acre back lawn complete with a statement 200-year-old olive tree planted near a built-in barbecue and pizza oven.

Fluorescent modern art sculptures add a splash of colour to the interior – as does a purple-baize pool table in the games room.

On the gravel drive outside is a gleaming collection of supercars.

The middle-class banker’s son, 42, made a small fortune after creating OnlyFans in 2016 – and an even bigger one selling it to US computer programmer Leonid Radvinsky, who died this week following a long battle with cancer.

While many will have been shocked by the OnlyFans owner’s death, Tim would have felt more indebted to him than most.

The mastermind behind the controversial site – which has been credited with transforming the porn industry – sold his majority 75 per cent stake to Radvinsky in 2018 for an undisclosed amount and remained as CEO until stepping down in 2021.

Tim’s fruitful career in pornography began in the 2000s when he ‘stumbled across the appeal of fetish movies’ as a student at Anglia Ruskin University.

‘While studying several UK dominatrix sites for potential business opportunities, I found a need for a properly operating financial domination site,’ he told Reddit users on a forum in 2014.

Inspired by the potential fortune he could make from men who were willing to pay to be degraded by women who wouldn’t usually look twice at them in the street, Tim created his first dominatrix porn site Glamworship in 2011.

Two years later, he built a second called Customs4U, where users could pay to ask adult film stars for bespoke content.

By this point, he was already calling himself a ‘British entrepreneur in the adult entertainment industry’.

However, his family fortunes didn’t really take off until 2016 when he came up with the idea for OnlyFans.

His father Guy Stokely, a 82-year-old former investment banker who once worked at Barclays, gave him a £10,000 loan and told him: ‘Tim, this is going to be the last one.’

It launched that November, with the first board meeting at the Institute of Directors on Pall Mall.

At first, just five ‘creators’ signed up, each earning a few hundred pounds a month.

But it quickly bloomed as minor celebrities and influencers with a large Instagram presence realised they could make big money by pushing followers to pay for exclusive material on the site, such as saucy lingerie shoots.

These ‘creators’ understood the fastest and easiest way to get new paying subscribers was to offer ever more explicit content, including full-blown porn.

By 2019, The New York Times was reporting that one of the original five, a glamour model from Neath in Wales called Dannii Harwood, was earning £30,000 a month, with hundreds of male fans paying to access videos of her driving around in her underwear, or enacting sexual fantasies dressed as a nurse or a dominatrix.

It described OnlyFans as ‘the hottest site in the adult entertainment industry’ and said it was ‘changing sex work forever’.

The entrepreneur regularly posted pictures of his fleet of sparkling supercars, including a £120,000 matte black Audi R8 and a bespoke Range Rover from a customised car firm popular with Premier League footballers

The Essex-born businessman has often shared his opulent lifestyle with his social media fans

By early 2020, Ms Harwood, the daughter of a forklift operator, had made £1 million.

As the site’s profile rose, so it began to draw more and more mainstream celebrities into its seedy grip.

Today, it’s used by the likes of former Atomic Kitten Kerry Katona, Love Island alumni Megan Barton-Hanson, Towie star Lauren Goodger and Kate Moss’s younger sister Lottie – just to name a few.

Tim revelled in his seedy success by flaunting all of the luxuries OnlyFans had afforded him.

He regularly posted pictures on his social media accounts of his fleet of sparkling supercars, including a £120,000 matte black Audi R8 and a bespoke Range Rover from a customised car firm popular with Premier League footballers.

The Essex-born businessman who grew up in a commuter mansion with his three siblings showed off his turbocharged lifestyle on Instagram, posing in Savile Row suits and with chunky wristwatches.

Other posts showed him drinking champagne on super-yachts off the coast of Ibiza with scantily clad models, or partying in New York and London’s most exclusive bars, clubs and restaurants.

He also gave his followers a good look inside his luxury home including a few Christmases ago when he showed off a bundle of Louis Vuitton parcels at the bottom of his lavishly-decorated tree.

But he wasn’t the only Stokely who benefitted from the riches, as it became somewhat of a family affair with many members of the tribe taking senior roles at either the online sex firm or connected businesses – making them Britain’s first family of pornography.

His father Guy was a director of Fenix International and owned a majority of the firm’s shares with his son until 2018 when they sold them to Radvinsky.

Guy’s wife – and Tim’s mother – Deborah, 67, is not only a pearl-wearing grandmother but a former director of both Fenix International and Delivery Code Limited. The latter is a second internet company controlled by Guy that was acquired by OnlyFans in December in a deal that netted him and a second major shareholder, Tim’s 47-year-old brother Tom, £23.65 million.

Tim was also the chief operating officer of OnlyFans, while Tim’s 52-year-old sister, Sarah, is a former director of Delivery Code.

The only family member with no connections is the oldest sibling, Robert, 56, who works at a wealth management firm in the City called Sandaire.

Tim remained as CEO of OnlyFans until December 2021 when he stepped down and was succeeded by Indian-American businesswoman Amrapali Gan, who was later replaced by Keily Blair in 2023.

After leaving OnlyFans behind, he co-founded blockchain-based digital trading card platform Zoop in 2022.

The site allows fans to collect, buy, sell and trade 3D cards of officially licenced celebrities and influencers.

In October 2022, he invested in FITFCK, a London-based dating app aimed at fitness enthusiasts. The deal valued the company at £3 million.

His most recent venture, however, goes back to the roots of his OnlyFans model but with a less overtly sexually explicit core.

In May 2025, Tim launched Subs.com which is designed to have features of all the top paid social media sites, including YouTube, Patreon and Cameo, but with the scroll-ability of TikTok.

It operates as a web app which not only allows ‘creators’ to dodge in-app fees from Apple and Google app stores, but also restrictions on adult content.
